My name is John Greska. These past few years, I have learned how to self-produce my own content, whether due to lack of space, funds, or equipment. I began making instrumental music in 2017, and within a year I had a record ready to go.

There's a hint of musical theatre in my music that keeps the listeners attentive and always on their feet in terms of what comes next. By the time I released my second album in 2019, I was ready to try something new. My 3rd project in 3 years would be a vocal album.

Upon its release in 2020, "Aiming At The Stars" was described positively for the integration of lyrics into the already unpredictable instrumentals.

"John Greska emerges for his creativity and pure spirit capable of assembling pieces of avant-garde art into a poetic track". - A&R Factory

"His honest, passionate and sometimes amusing lyrics make John Greska a unique figure in the music industry." - Turtle Tempo

This makes my upcoming 4th project all the more exciting. My 4th album, Suburban Child, combines everything I have learned as I have grown making music, with the feelings of growing as a child and in life itself in the suburbs.

"Gravity (The End of the Rainbow) is the next track from this album, telling the story of doubts pursuing your dream as you grow up, and the feelings that come along with it. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy it.

Lyrics:
Look back
You've climbed pretty high now
God your feet must hurt
Time to say goodbye now
You can't keep exerting everything on this
What if you miss
Trust me I felt the push
Let yourself feel the pull

Inevitable, irrevocable
You've had quite the hot streak
But Isaac said it best
What goes up must come down

It's like gravity
At the end of the rainbow
Like gravity
(Gravity)
At the end of the rainbow
You've gotten so far but it's not far enough
So I call your bluff
The fall will be rough
But later you'll thank me

I'm just
Trying to help out here
You can go ahead
The plunge will just get bigger
It's your choice to keep shredding all the time you have
On all the bad here
That outweighs the good
The good that comes to an end

Inevitable, irrevocable
You've had quite the hot streak
But Isaac said it best
What goes up must come down
(Down, down, down, down, down)

It's like gravity
At the end of the rainbow
Like gravity
(When you fall, you fall hard)
At the end of the rainbow
You've had a good time but it's time to give up
You're a grown-up
The fall will be rough
But it'll wake you up

Gravity
At the end of the rainbow
It's gravity
At the end of the rainbow
Depravity
Holds you tight and it shows
But it's time for you now to let go

Gravity
At the end of the rainbow
It's gravity
At the end of the rainbow
If you're asking me
Then you gotta know
If you're not then I pray gravity's kind
And you ascend at allegro

Great harmonies!

Kind of reminiscent of early Ben Folds 5ive. I can hear the musical theatre influences for sure, as well. Top-notch lyrics.

Thank you and welcome to FeedForward ;)
