Time goes by so slowly. Yet at times it seems so fast. You look back on life With fond memories. Wonder where the time has gone so fast There are days when we wish would end, So we can start all over again start again. We look forward to the future. And we relish the past. We hope to leave a trail for love ones to follow back. To see where they came from, The history of long days past. The future holds it secrets, Though it changes with time. We long for better days, but we don't want this time to end A fickle race we are. Neither wanting future nor past. So todays the day we step forward Yet we are always adding to the past.
