8 ½ x 11 acid-free paper.
I would pick 10-12 various colored papers (standard size) and then mix a specific acrylic paint color that I like and put some of that color on most of the pieces of paper using a painting knife or a brush in a very free flowing expressionist manner.
Then I would mix another wonderful color and do it again and maybe more as I feel it needs.
Once dry, I’d look at them (even with a mirror and upside down) and decide how to embellish them with ink and color pencil. Doing these is so much fun and I hope it shows. I also enjoy the incompatibility between the actual media I use. You can’t paint over prismacolor pencils, and you can’t color with prismacolor pencils on dry acrylic paint.

Has more of a 3D perspective than I am used to seeing out of you. As almost always, a very nicely textured sun :] Thanks! -Shoham

I like this work especially, the feeling of depth and surreal landscape is aptly captured here.
