A song about surfing and falling in love.

Track seven from our debut album 'Decoding the Illusion' - Enjoy! : D

Lyrics:
A rose in the darkness, the beauty of the night
Untouched grass beneath our feet
The burning horizon lights our way

As we climb that hill, you see
The light inside me shines, I'm free
The light in your eyes lets you go

And I saw…
The rising sun
In your eyes
The rising sun
A new day was born today
And I wanna share it with you

We walked and walked and walked and walked
Out of step is not a crime
The road may twist and turn
But the warrior will always learn

As we paddle out from the shore
False desires are no more
At the mercy of the sea
I have no choice but just to be
I looked out and I saw…

The rising sun
In your eyes
The rising sun
A new day was born today
And I wanna share it with you

Looking clearly now I see
Splashed clean and now I see
Looking clearly and now I see
Myself reflected in you

Floating away…

I don't think I ever heard this one of yours.

The ambiance of the whole thing is phenomenal. From the waves crashing at the beginning, and also I like what you've done with your vocals.

Some of your best guitar work as well.
Easy melodies to follow, and a cool story. makes me think of Duran Duran, which I like :D

As it happens, yes! I've been listening through my music archive recently and have exported out a load of promising ideas and demos. Not quite as polished as some of my other stuff, but there are some nice gems in there which i'll be sharing over the coming weeks : )

Awesome! Hopefully we'll get some more stop-motion animation too! I really liked what you did with "Nun the Wiser" :D

Thanks man, everything I have at the moment is audio but maybe more stop motion is on the cards in the future. Really enjoyed playing around with those eggs ; )

The Airvents gave feedback to Pattern Break for “Rising Sun”:
I like this one. Great music and a really like the lyrics. I like the guitar intro, and the drum fill at the beginning is pretty sick. This is just me, but the vocals kind of remind me of REM, which is not a bad thing. Once again, great job.

Hehe, someone last week also said they were reminded of REM : D Before then it hadn't crossed my mind! It's an honour to have a comparison to such a great band. This one and King Louis are probably the two I am most pleased with. Glad you liked it too.
Thanks Memmott, any plans to upload some more Airvents tunes? : D

Yes, thanks for asking. This weekend we plan on recording two songs. One called Gone For Good, and another song, which is acoustic driven, titled This One's For You. These two songs I am proud of, but they don't really follow a punk sound, or at least I don't think so. We'll let the listeners decide.
