I just want to record and write some songs as of now.

---------------------------
It seems things are looking up creatively. I am now working with fellow musician and song writer Shoham. I recommend checking his page out which I will link.
Him and I have decided to start majorly colloberating on a number of tracks. Shoham
has been a great friend on here for many years and look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together.

Working on an official name and will most likely make a separate feed page for the purpose of archiving our journey in writing together. Will keep updated.

Hello there.

I appreciate you taking the time to view my expression of art in forms of graphics and sound. Please feel free to listen and download any of my songs.

My name is Kyle Cole or Raum as my online alias goes. I am 25 years old with some college in Graphic Art as well as Psychology. One of my true passions besides science and such is the expression of myself, music being the largest at the moment. I play guitar, preferably rhythm, and have written many songs and been in quite a few small bands. I have currently had a long absence in my work and this site due to moving from South Carolina to Colorado. Now that I'm all moved into a nice house I plan to start recording again soon as I get this sound proof room I'm working on done.

Is this puppy an original? Sweet tune either way. Nice guitar work. Pump up the volume on the vocals, please sir.

Maybe your most mature work ever? If this is the future of rock and roll --- sign me UP! After last chord maybe give it a bum-bum-bum-bum baaah bass-line...

I always absolutely looking forward to your feedback! Yes, I have been gaining maturity in my work. Do you think the fills work?

After listening to the both several times, the accidental artifact give the recording a certain feel I can’t put my fingers on, but it works. I really like how that accident made this sound because it gives it that feeling of being more “full”. Would you agree?

Generally I do. What accident?

I recorded the guitar while singing on one track. During one of my vocal overdub process I mistakenly did not have headphones plugged in. So the monitor was coming out of speakers which in turn bled the sound of that track bleed into my microphone which I was also using to do my overdubs.
This is an artifact effect that most bands in the 60s and 70s had in their recordings, which is said to add a needed “sloppyness” and “sound bleed wall” effect that made recordings of those times different than the perfect recordings of the present.

NICE! Did not know of this Crickets, sans Buddy Holly tune. Yeah, it's such a balance between no-fi, lo-fi, and on the other end just the bonkersness off overproduced stuff. Even when I am trying my best to get good recordings and I have in the past, (not right now...) it is such a crap shoot for me, which is why in my frustration I have been doing these no-fis for a few years now. KEEP EXPERIMENTING!!!!

I can't believe I had never heard this song before! It's a nice treatment, especially in the vocals. Definitely am happy with your approach to production these days 😂

I really need to learn how to strum like this. It sounds so bad ass.

Gedaliah can play the olde six string! He even used to jam with Matisyahu.
