✎ Edit ***Rabies Clinic has decided to go in a slightly different musical direction...check out our new project, Concentricity***

Rabies Clinic is a shape-shifting group of musicians from Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The "main" line-up is a drummer, bassist, and two guitarists. Though, some of our recordings feature an altered line-up to include keys, and sax. Our musical inclinations lean to the heavier side of blues, rock, reggae and funk but we often drift into the spacier side of things. We currently do not have a vocalist so everything is a loose instrumental jam.

Our News:

Jazzy stuff, dudes! I had not heard from you in a while. How is everything going in Chapel Hill, and how long until you come on up to Pittsburgh???

Either way, this jam was pretty sweet. Helped me wake up this morning :]

Thank you,

Sign me up! Sounds like a little bit of Stevie Ray to me -- a slice of win for sure :)

The lyrics are good, and the band sounds tight. One thing to look out for is that you seem to be straining your vocalist by playing a little louder than necessary. This is something I deal with as a singer, and it can be hard to balance things, especially wioth small practice and recording spaces and venues that have hit or miss audio equipment, but in the long run you guys and your vocalist will be better off, musically and physically, and your listeners will appreciate the balancing act as well!

I'm looking forward to the final cut for sure. Take a few bucks for the master session, and one for the road, too ;)

Is this an original? Thank you!

Thanks for the ears and donation man, we really appreciate it as always...also never hurts to be compared to Stevie, haha. Yeah i think the difference in levels is from the mixing process, the track instrumental track was cut separate from the vocal track, should all be smoothed out when we take it to get mastered. It is an original, our drummer stepped up to vocals and wrote the lyrics as well

Very cool! That's what it's all about. Keep on making connection, online and IRL and you guys will continue to go far, I can tell. It's a long road to the top, but you've gotta have fun with it, together. I'm looking forward to the master tracks, for sure :0 Thank you, -Shoham

Good energy on this track guys! I wish I could have been there in person. You are from N.C., if I recall correctly. What venue was this exactly?

Also, I know it's too late, but did you take my idea to bring some home printed C.D.'s to hand out to friends, fans, family and others? Fun banter!

Looking forward to listening to more from this set.

You recall correctly, we're from the Chapel Hill area...this is from the Pour House in downtown Raleigh. We are definitely planning on making a bunch of physical copies to hand out to friends, family and strangers. We're still wrapping up the final bits and pieces for the album but should hopefully be wrapped and mastered in the next month or two...we'll send out a copy your way for sure
