About me:
✎ Edit Michael Rattray is a composer, singer, musician and artist based in Perth, Scotland. visual works have been exhibited all over the UK.

He began creating visual art in 1998. He has not been to Art college and he has had no formal training which he feels is important in keeping his works pure in expression, free from any pre-conceived ideas or rules. He has also released 5 studio albums with various musical projects.

"I take inspiration from surreal artists like Dali, Picasso, Banksy and Adam Neate. Creative work to me is an avenue for complete freedom of expression and I hope for the viewer I also create an opportunity for complete freedom of interpretation.

Much of my work is to do with the dark and light side of human experience and emotion. Depression, anxiety and despair are all featured in my work but most importantly so too are the opposite extremes: Hope, Perseverance and Love".

If you are interested in obtaining his work or a mounted print please get in touch. He does not accept cash only gifts or vouchers. Thanks.
