Thoughts on a college education [For $Nine_Cats]

Partch[1] and Vincent Galilei[2] Gave us more than Do Re Mi [3]. From Shelly[4] to Pythagoras[5], And Keats[6] to Aristoxenus[7] Reason[8] has two fathers known: Named, rhythm and his brother[9] tone. Music has and always will be more than something theoretical. Notes must come from deep within and not be merely alphabetical. Math and physics are the fruits of roots which run much deeper Though modern times consider metaphors and rhymes much cheaper[10]. While you study architecture and acoustic engineering[11] Just remember that it's always more than waves that you are hearing[12]. The music in your soul begets the science[13] that we hold so dear Without new melodies and harmonies no TOEs,[14] I fear!!![15] 1- Harry Partch, a 20th Century instrument inventor, music theorist, composer 2- Galileo's father and the father of the 12 tone equal temperament system. 3- The first three notes in the 12 tone equal temperament system. 4- Percy Shelley, a 19th Century poet, husband to Mary author of 'Frankenstein' 5- A pre-Socratic Greek philosopher. The father of math and music. 6- A 19th Century poet, most famous for his work "Ode on a Grecian Urn". 7- A student of Aristotle's, noted for his work in music theory. 8- As in logic. 9- This is a metaphor, rhythm is of course an only child... 10- In the 21st century rhyming was strongly discourage in academic research! 11- Two fields of study in the 20th and 21st Centuries. 12- You're hearing more than waves. Duh! 13- When music and soul love each other, sometimes they have a special time, and then the stork brings Science! Tadah. 14- Theories of Everything. 15- These are exclamation points, they signify excitement. For example: "I'm excited to be finished with this poem and it's footnotes!"

I liked the dancing people AND the rainbow notes. I need a transcript. I don't know who some of these people are. End.
