Awesome groove, sounds like Pearl Jam with a Funk enema.

KB did great on the mastering too!

That's an awesome description JW!!! Thanks, and yes he did!!! I only wish we had stems to give him to remaster, because there's only so much you can do with remastering a one off, one layer live track. Someone was mocking me for sounding too much like EV, but that's a good compliment in my view + the funk enema was something that happened in the course of the jam! Ride the wave.............! Thanks again, -Wala

Very different sound we got here. Seems to be going for more of a more "live" feel than a studio one?

Either way, I still like it and it's funky beat, awesome breakdown, and quirky lyrical placement.

Honest critique here (no harm meant) - for my tastes, there was too much compression done during mastering. It sounds like the waveform might have no dynamics and be "brickwalled".

Again, no harm meant, I just wanted to post my two cents.

YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!!!!! All kidding aside, I think Kelly did a pretty good job! That said, I know he doesn't deal much with vocals, and he only had access to the entire track, not the stems. I've got some big news, and we'll have to get together to get some stuff done, but pleas Do keep in touch! -Shoham PS: WWW is in between instantiations, why don't we restart it as something new. I am a bad guitar player, but I could be a lead singer for a new project. Hint, hint...

Ah you were right Shoham, hadn't heard this one before. Mix sounds great, really clear and well balanced.
A good tune, strong rhythms throughout this one. My only criticism would be that the wailing lacked a bit of direction. However, I'm sure it would rally the troops to bring the walls down!
Even sounds a bit Middle Eastern in places, like some kind of prayer chant.
All the best,

Yes, I teach private lessons and groups, it's my main income. It's a great job, I love it, just wish I was playing live more.

Not a bad gig. Do people come to shows where you are, or is it hit and miss these days?

Covers gigs usually get a pretty good turnout, that's all I do at the moment. Getting an audience for an originals band can be pretty hit and miss over here too. I have friends that have played to just the other bands on the bill and maybe 2 people at the bar. Luckily never had that myself. Always good to play though, no matter how many are watching!

At least the other bands stuck around ;p

very cool--like editing. People don't realize what goes into that until you see a movie, for example, and think..."that movie would be better if they edited that scene..."
