This is a rough draft!

I'd rather be a banker
Stealing money from the poor
Counting on anxiety and vanity and war
I'd rather be in prison girl, a victim of the law
I guess I'll be a congressman
'Cause lovin' you's a chore, yeah lovin' you's a chore

One day I'll be so debonair, like Miles in '62
Dressed up in silk Armani, but it will not be for you

I wanna be a Philistine, with tastes you might find poor
With plastic covers on my couch and boy bands on my wall
I'd don't care for Dom Perignon or Almas caviar
To me a screw top wine's divine
But lovin' you's a bore- yeah lovin' you's a bore...

Some day I'll make you dance like Pablo did in 64
Just fantasize you're exorcising demons on the floor- (woo!)

I'm gonna be a soldier, fighting in Afghanistan
We'll sack Kabul and Baghdad too and then we'll take Tehran
I'm in it for the opium, and pretty Persian whores...
Well, you keep the petroleum,
'Cause lovin' you's a war- ah, loving you's a war- eh lovin you's a war, yeah, lovin you's a war...

You guys are awesome! And yes, as previously said the "live effect" really is amazing and believable. I have to disagree with the rough draft part though, sounds pretty polished ;) Such a fun song to listen to, a sound I've missed for a while. It sounds familiar yet very unique, and that's something we strive for in our own way. Really enjoyed listening, keep up the amazing work, and thanks for the recent feedback on Reddit! Cheers guys!

Thank you guys! It's greatly appreciated. I'm probably too self critical at time, especially about vocals. Anyway, thanks a lot and I'm looking forward to checking more of your stuff out when I'm at a computer where I can listen to music better. Also, all of our stuff is free to download.

Trevor Rosen gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Sometimes Why”:
This song is soo chill :) I really liked the smooth solo-- it really flowed well with the song without overdoing it. Definitely different for me, but different is good.

Glad you liked it! I don't think it's our best recording to be honest, but thanks for the + feedback. We have a variety of tunes, let me know what kind of music you like, all of ours are free downloads.

Nice. Thanks. I think that this might be a rough draft, at this point, although it says "This is the official release!". Thanks for the + feedback on the lyrics :) -Shoham

The Amorous gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Sometimes Why”:
Definitely fun! I'd love to see you guys live. It's got a bit of a folk vibe that I definitely dig.

My only criticism is that you could use some keys buried in the background to fill out the sound a bit. When the guitar lead comes in, the song sounds a bit empty 'cause of the rhythm guitar doing chops. Of course, you can't change the chops, since they're driving the song, so adding a track could be cool.

Still a fantastic song, and the lyrics are pretty unique. I like it!

Yeah, I was never really that happy with this recording, myself. Thanks for the suggestion. -Shoham

I really dig this. It has that original Rock N Roll vibe. Takes me back to the roots. -Jeremy (The Amorous Road Manager)
