Cracks

The first track I ever put any time or thought into. Dark and brooding, the song eventually builds into a chaotic climax.

Lyrics:
Always end back here,
The moment in time when we clutch them near.
We always end back here
But shake it off there's nothing to fear

Because the cracks are yet to appear

Although we've found something
There's reason to search underneath the skin
And although we've found something
I'm still yet to find the illustrious ring

It's now that we should break it in
Won't you join me

Now that it's coming to a close
I'll let you know things that nobody knows
To access all that which lies within
I need to ask that you don't pull the pin

The cracks appear.

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to nick langley for “Cracks”:
Jesus Christ, these harmonies are good. How in the hell did you do this!?!?!

I'm angry, confused, jealous, and feeling warm feelings that I've never felt for another man before.

What is this sorcery, and why don't you give me more!?!?!

Megatherian gave feedback to nick langley for “Cracks”:
Had to listen to this twice. The ending is very good. I like songs that go somewhere. You seem to have a good amount of skill with composition, that is definitely a powerful strong point to have. I really liked how the song was pretty much a constant climb up to the chaos at the ending. Songs like this get people like me to listen twice simply because they want to make sure that the beginning ACTUALLY ties to the end. And yours definitely did. Very well done.

Beautiful vocal. How did you make the harmonies? Is this one person, or a choir? Sounds good. Got any more?

Very nice. Like you said, very dark. I like the drony vocals.

Taylor Evans gave feedback to nick langley for “Cracks”:
Too whiny. I'm also not a fan of the type of percussion you are using. Could very well be a difference in styles. Keep creating!
