This drawing was made on an A3 sheet, later cut down to the size of an almost A4, just a bit larger. It is made using charcoal pencils, and shading pencils. It is fixated on a red chart paper to give it a warm, yet subtle touch.
Hope you like it!

Impressive little sketch. I liked your Da Vinci, but I think this is my favorite f yours. Very realistic. Is it for sale? I didn't see a price-tag. Thanks.

Cool piece Kunall121! Is this a sketch, or did you draw it yourself? Either way it's pretty darn good! I could see this as part of a series, are you going to do any more animals, it seems like you're good at it -- I think this is your best, from what I can see.

Thanks for sharing :D

Kunall,

As usual, your pieces just blow me away. The concept of B and W imagery baffles me. Then, to be able to translate a color image to such a beautiful B and W drawing with all the intricate shading. It is a great piece.

I do like stark contrast of white to red. Have you thought of using just red pencils to do the drawing? I think it would look very cool in color.

I have heard that these beetles can weigh close to three pounds and fly at 35 to 40 miles per hour. Try hitting that while driving your motorcycle!

Thank you for sharing it with us.

Man, this is really life-like! All with just some pencils, huh? Nice -- what a beautiful/frightening creature -- did you get close to it, or is it from a book?

Cool detailed drawing. The red border does add to the overall artistic feeling of the drawing.
