Ask yourself this, "What is the myst?"
"What is confusion, what is illusion,
What's the solution, why do you cry?"

Been listening to a lot of EDM lately and listen some good ol rock and roll is just what my ears needs and this fits the bill nicely. I feel the upper end of the master is bit over represented, could use a bit of leveling. Great track overall

Thank you, Kode of Bliss. EDM? This is one of my favorites from the album. Thanks for the suggestions, too.

Excellent. You can really do somethin' with this stuff.I'd use a different guitar sound & let it go for an extra bar.A kinda "All along the watchtower" return & send - it'd suit the song title - just constructive critique

Thanks for the idea. We'll keep it in mind for the next time we record this one! Do you have any other recordings coming yourself? Also, all of our recordings are free downloads :D

Nice tune. I like the feeling. Its laid back, yet in some way least it is this way for me haha. I like the crunchy sound to it all and it kinda reminds me of You Really Got Me by The Kinks....which is a good thing haha. Once again great work, and thanks for the free download!

Awesome tones, very Kink-esque, nice simple chord progession too, lots of room for sonic explosion

I love the snarling, garage rock sound you guys have here. I personally like to lay down a fuller mix, but I think this sound works well for the kind of stripped-down, raw rock you're doing. Great lead tone, too.

Thanks Ian! What exactly do you mean by 'fuller mix'? I don't know that much about recording. Also, our songs are free downloads here.

Well, your song is heavy in mids and trebles, but thin in the low end. Your sound has a single-mic live feel, whereas more bottom end and a thicker mix throughout sound more "studio."

OK, I think that I see what you mean-- like give it more dimensions-- maybe some more panning too...? Thanks.

Ian Marquis
Dimension, yes. Panning, maybe, but really it's mostly about EQ and where each instrument sits in the field. You've already got a good separation, so mostly it would be about making everything a bit "thicker" and hit a little harder. Boost the bass, roll off the lows on the guitars to make room for it, and compress the drums a bit.

Rockin' tune! I like the metaphysical concepts in the lyrics. Good stuff!

Thanks Benci :D It's a free download too. Sounds like you were really listening to the lyrics in this one. We got lucky last year and ended up having this song played at a baseball game in Pittsburgh to about 25,000 people, which was pretty cool. Hopefully we'll be invited back again this year! Thanks again.
