Ironic since N has more Oil than most other countries... Do they give you a car for your work or you have to find your own way?????

Haha I am using n coping with my Peugeot 406 early 2000 model. I haven't reached the stage where the agency will give me an official car yet, that is for the directors and men up the top. That will take years so I must use my own money and get what it can afford for point A to point B movement but it's all good.

I think so far I have learnt that in Africa, countries with mineral resources actually suffer its lack more, so sad. It hurts deeply

ironic... 'the curse of oil' they used to call it I think... i don't know what the solutions are.

Man, this is great! I will get hours of use out of this guy, for sure!

I think that as good as the core application is itself, and as much fun as it is to play with, the real genius of this application is how you incorporate the history of the drum machine, and how it has been put into use over the course of more than a century. I learned something from you, today :]

Thank you!!!
-Shoham PS: I'd buy a copy :)

Thanks mate. :)

Maybe some day I will get around to re-writing this in JavaScript. This version is 10 years old. It could be much faster and more enjoyable... :)

Plenty enjoyable for me! Actully, I was going to ask you why you chose AS2, and not AS3, but that prety much nswers my question. Personally, I think that Action Script is a good language for the most part, even if it is going out of style. I am not much of a programmer, but I think that when you compare it to other languages that ran their course, and died, like COBOL and FORTRAN, some good things came out of the language...

Yeah, I like many things about it (AS3 that is, AS2 was pretty hacked up). I think it's unfortunate that Adobe's bad PR engine accelerated its decline. In many ways, I prefer working with ActionScript over JavaScript, but... times change. :)

Just an idea. I was playing with this recently, but it could be cool to let people turn their beats into files. Just a thought!

Well produced track, guys. I think it just needs some vocal harmonies throughout, even before the finale.

I feel like there is an important message with this song, keep pushing that and you can't go wrong!

So far I have I have been accepted to 3 schools, waiting on two more. One of the ones in question is Uc Berkeley, which is my number 1. If not there, San Jose State, which I have been accepted to already.

did you start off doing community college? yeah, yeah, everyone wants to go to Berkeley, but don't be too snobby, lol. I just checked it out and it looks like SJST has a damn good rep for engineering. -Shoham

Yep, community college. Did not want to pay enormous out of state fees.

I think it's the smart move. I taught for about ten years after college (just left recently), I think that if you want the college credits and if they are going to transfer, then Community is a lot better choice than going straight to a main campus, especially as much as costs have soared in the last 10+ years...

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to LoKey512 for “(deleted)”:
weird chord progressions and chord structures in here, $LoKey512. But it really works, since the bea is pretty straight forward. As a general principle, I think that 2:40-2:45 is an ideal track length, but in this case, I feel like you could easily add a middle section and come back to the core theme.

Just some thoughts,

PS: As an aside, I'll also donate some Ad Credi if you list the track for sale via Ad Credit -- 1 credit gives you about 100 displays. 100 displays costs about 30 cents on average 'on the open market' if you will.

Thank you for the listen as well as feedback and I agree with you on that. I will list the track for add credit and thanks again for the support.

Deep thoughts! Kind of reminds me of Jihn Donne's Holy Sonnets. Were you inspired by them?

Chill track, $LoKey512!

A very eclectic mix of concepts, one thing that I found missing was a drive that I was looking for at some point in the track, something to get me off of my seat. But I like the concepts implied by this one. Very atmospheric, and possibly a nice background for a movie sequence. I really liked the change-up around 3'' in! A nice reprieve.

Subtle work. Really nice way to capture a combination of city + nature.

In that way it reminds me of the all-time Klieber Klassik "Canadian Winter in Pittsburgh":
