yo missy
i love the song but the title can kill a lover :)
great work by the way, you have a wonderful voice. keep it up.
it will be fair to us if we can have the lyrics too to flow along with you
it is beautifully blended.

U don't want this work
but I want this to work

Said I eat too much
And I talk too fast
that I'm a little brash
oh, and could I be quiet?

U told me that I'm too fat
and that I make you tired
You start complaining about me
What do you want me to change?

I know that I'm not perfect
but you're not worth it
If I make you embarassed
it's time to make this over

I'm not sophisticated
who said I wanna be?
your love is overrated
man, you're under three
You always find something to tease me over it
I know I said I'm in
but tell me again what its

Oh I'm over it
Oh I'm quitting this
Oh I thought I was strong but oh
I'm weakening

Man, you dont require this love I give you over and over
though you are a jerk and a loser
Don't know why I put up with you over the years
You dont deserve me
You dont own me

Oh I'm over it
Oh I'm quitting this
Oh I thought I was strong but oh
I'm weakening

Man, you dont require this love I give you over and over
though you are a jerk and a loser
don't know why I put up with you over the years
You dont deserve me
You dont own me

You dont deserve me
You don't own me
own me

Those r the lyrics😊

Ian Marquis gave feedback to The Middlemen for “Don't Cut Me Out”:
One second into this track and I absolutely love the rawness of the mix. The guitar is sharp as a knife; the bass is tight, and the drums are punchy. I'd maybe like to see the vocals occupy a bit less space in the stereo field (they overpower some of the instrumentals), but this is good stuff.

Yeah, I have NEVER liked the vocals on this one. We did it sort of 'last minute' and I didn't even have any lyrics ready when we got going. Thank you for the ideas. If you want, give it a remix! Thank you for listening, Ian!

Do you have the stems? I'd love to do a mix!

Sadly no. This is from a number of years ago at this point. There was a problem with the hard drive so we lost the stems and a bunch of tracks for the album we were making!!!

Has like an asian flare to it. Or is that the stir-fry I ate for lunch. I love the little bit-tune fireworks you threw in there at the end of the track!

Thanks! This is the only time I've ever let my experimental effects "hang out" like that. I'm trying to do more of that lately.

is this one of the ones you sent to the radio? I think you should. It's got a good beat and story, plus it's got simple lyrics for the average listener. -sho

I first did this track back in 2010, and I reworked it and made it even more excellent for the EP. I haven't sent it to the radio yet, but I think it's...marketable?

Rex Yehudi (shoham)
Look, in terms of marketability it's like any other asset, it's what someone else is willing to pay. For music, most people are not used to having to pay, so it's hard to make sales. Again, for me it's another example of 'the market' saying that they expect it to be free.

I imagine that something similar will happen in software eventually, since the expectation from the consumer point of view is not to pay, and since many programmers do their best work for free.

But ultimately, it's the value that your work brings to others. That is where we as artists get our biggest payoff, in my opinion.

TLDR: Gets you laid > Gets you paid :)

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to missy tnk for “U Don't Deserve Me”:
I think it's a good start. You wrote that the track was 'unloveable' -- but it sounds good. First of all, and I mean this 100% seriously, the length is perfect -- 2:42, that's been the magic number for over 100 years, probably a lot longer -- probably has something to do with how much a brain can process -- even classical pieces that are long only stick with one theme for a few minutes at the most.

The productions is well put together and your vocals are nice -- very relaxed.

What are the lyrics?

Thanks,
-Shoham

Fun retro sounding track. Cool sounding beat, very upbeat. Perhaps add a tad bit of reverb to the track. Nice work good job.

Very simple. I like.

What did you use to make this one.

I like how your sound continues to develop. Minimalistic, but with a lot of feeling.

Thanks! I use Sonar X3 nowadays.
I like how I did some details here but this lacks direction, so I'll work on that next.
Don't worry, I only compose when I feel like it!
