Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Chasing Windmills”:
Has like an asian flare to it. Or is that the stir-fry I ate for lunch. I love the little bit-tune fireworks you threw in there at the end of the track!

Thanks! This is the only time I've ever let my experimental effects "hang out" like that. I'm trying to do more of that lately.

My nephew loves it. Has kind of a hip-hop vibe to it, I think! Could use some rapping on top of it, perhaps???

This is going places!

Gabrielle gave feedback to Ian MacPhail for “Stylophone Demo”:
Never heard of a stylophone. Looks weird but cool. Kind of sounds like a church organ-from outerspace!

I had to look it up to check it out. I wasn't expecting them to be so small. They're cute, and I want one!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian MacPhail for “Stylophone Demo”:
Very weird, very cool. I like this experimental track you're on with this one. Is it crazy as hell? Yes. Cool tones. Check. Would like to hear some more of this stuff. I like that it seemed a little off the cuff, informal. Very zany and fun.

I just need to look at how many different chords are there, since I won't record the whole thing in one take :P (each note must be recorded individually...)

Just going boating around the islands on the west coast of Canada.

WalaWalaWala gave feedback to The Watermarks for “Run Away”:
I like the techno vibe on this tune, but I feel as if the vocals are being a little bit compromised with some of the effects you put on them.

Harmonies sound really good here in the middle, and the guitar solo is good as well. That's the only thing that's bothering me is that there's a little too much (I think) effects on the lead vocals, which otherwise sound QUITE good.

Thanks for sharing :)

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Bojko for “Just say it”:
Cool for a quick noise piece, man! I think that this has some really nice potential, whether or not you add vocals to it. I would just say, get the basic layout to a point where you can get some nicer takes, and you've got the makings of an awesome track, because the energy is really good on it, and the ideas are all there.

Keep up the hard work, and great experimentation!
Thanks a lot for sharing your music :D

The Middlemen gave feedback to Ryan Toth for “banjo song”:
Very nice chord changes. Was all of this done with live instruments, or are some of these samples?

I especially like the Chinese fold style arpeggio you have going on with the banjo.

I couldn't make out all of the lyrics, which I would have liked to. Any plans to upload them?

most of it is live instruments, there are some synth layers. the live drums were chopped and sequenced into new beats. it's hard to remember because of the copious amounts of zanax i ate that day. i'll put the lyrics up now.
