I had not heard your music in a while. The production is great as always, but where do you get your samples from?

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Matsy for “Return (for)”:
Cool mix, Matsy! Is this House? I love the effects, I but I actually feel as if you could add some more weird stuff into it, perhaps you could break it down at some point and incorporate some spoken word?

Either way, it is very good stuff you are doing.

Thank you Matsy!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Andyl194 for “Bassment”:
Great beat! I would like to hear some slightly more experimental tones -- maybe something outside of the 12 tone system? I say this, because I feel as if you are pushing things as far as you can within the 12TET system, and though I enjoy the beat here, and I think it is easy for me, and anyone else to engage with this kind of House, still I would be open-minded to hearing something with a more progressive tone-palette.

Just to clarify, the most accessible artists that I can think of who does the kind of compositions that I am recommending is Tom Waits. A less well known artist would be Harry Partch. Here are some examples of his work that I think you might find interesting...

Rhythm-wise, I realzie that this might not be what you are into. But what is really interesting is what H.P. does in terms of expanding beyond the normal do-re-mi... system.

Here is his wikipedia page, too, for your convenience: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harry_Partch

Brooding tune. I dig it, man. Sounds like it could fit into a classic video game or something! Very retro.

Thank you,

I don't have any sound right now so I will listen eventually, but in the meantime had to comment on cat people. Creepy/funny/cute!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Kode of Bliss for “Naughty Boy”:
Very different sound from you, KB especially in the rhythm, I think. I like the new house feel you are exploring, here. I was doing something else while listening, and my one complaint is that it is too short. I want to see (hear, I guess...) where this goes next. Needs one of those 'drops'(?) to be a classic house track, but I actually think that this is great for a first foray into the genre, and for a WIP. Very fun.

Thank you!
