i think some of the best stuff on the internet are here, really cool stuff.
tried to work from 9-5
tried to make it on my own...
yeah we will all survive it
i love the insight in this song, though simple instrumentals but very deep words in there.
keep it up

Wow! Most people don't listen to lyrics. Very nice -- thanks! Free album w/some more tracks: https://www.feed-forward.net/a.5_The_Rise_of_Kolkata_ I wrote the lyrics when I was having some problems with the boss at one of my first jobs. he was squirting us with a water gun to try and make us work faster. I didn't last very long there...

oh damn that's not cool, this is always the problem with bands.
i don't know why the story is always the same. well, nothing to be sad about, i think this should give you enough time and energy to discover yourself and give the world what you got

Yes, it is. It is a mystery to me, too, man. I think that too many artists are too centered on ourselves and our visions. Shows up clearly in a band, I think. Thanks for the encouragement, too.

Kode Bliss gave feedback to The Middlemen for “It Brings me Back”:
I like the flanging on the guitar. Has a nice flow. Vocals are great as usual. Sounds like something you would hear in the 70's for some reason.

$kellybarnard: 1970's cool! Thank you. The original title of our albums was "Old Timers". You just now inspired a name change, as a matter of fact: http://www.feed-forward.net/a.11_Old_Timers_Turn_It_Up_and_Change_the_Channel

We were definitely inspired by the Strokes at the time, and in many ways still are, and they were at the time a throwback to the 70's era of indi rock, so it is cool that that seeped through!!!

Freebie!

Hey, man, thank you, thank you. I didn't know how the production went, but I am glad that you liked it. Sometimes it helps to have that second set of ears. FYI, this is Shoham, in case you didn't know!

Thank you! This one is an oldie where I come from. Wrote it about 11 years ago, after leaving CutCo -- I was selling knives in college, and it pretty much sucked -- they'd squirt you with super soakers if you didn't make enough calls _

Forgive my lack of knowledge :P

Thanks for the comment, and compliments Denhonator ... Acoustic, Folk Rock are more what it actually sounds like as in the first two genres listed ... it could be turned into a 'country' song ... but does it really sound like a country song to you ? ... I'm not a country music fan in general myself, but there a few that i enjoy as they cross over 'the boundaries' ... i definitely don't like 'twang' , but i do like a great song that grabs me ... there are songs in every genre that grab me, and inspire me ... if you listen to all of my music you'll hear a big cross section of my biggest influences ...
