Richard Shekari gave feedback to Benci for “Blind Faith”:
i gotta say it yeah, very beautiful work.
wild wild west kinda soundtrack 60s-80s feel.

Ian Marquis gave feedback to The Middlemen for “Don't Cut Me Out”:
One second into this track and I absolutely love the rawness of the mix. The guitar is sharp as a knife; the bass is tight, and the drums are punchy. I'd maybe like to see the vocals occupy a bit less space in the stereo field (they overpower some of the instrumentals), but this is good stuff.

Yeah, I have NEVER liked the vocals on this one. We did it sort of 'last minute' and I didn't even have any lyrics ready when we got going. Thank you for the ideas. If you want, give it a remix! Thank you for listening, Ian!

Do you have the stems? I'd love to do a mix!

Sadly no. This is from a number of years ago at this point. There was a problem with the hard drive so we lost the stems and a bunch of tracks for the album we were making!!!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “One-Way Glass”:
Ominous!!! Very mature beat. Seems like you are really continuing to develop your craft.

Vintage Marquis -- who is this girl on the track?

Big fan of the guitar outro as well.

Did you ever get your stuff out to the college radio station?

It's pretty cool, because this way everyone can make ads, not just 'businesses'. Ads are great, when everyone can make them! And the price is right, too!

I love that ad credits can be used to buy works AND buy ads - so, the community can operate without cash if that's what people want to do. Or, they can use money. Versatility is a good thing!

I could not agree more, and some people don't have PayPal, some people don't have cash, but this way anyone with a computer can earn credits and even create them. Three ways -- making new connections by giving feedback on the frontpage (which expands the credit base); having Ads show next to your work (you earn 100% of the credits for that!) And like you said, sales, for which you earn 100% of the transfer, no PayPal fee. Couldn't agree more; diversity is a very good thing!

I just noticed that the album payment options aren't quite as robust as the track ones (you can't set a "pay your own amount" for the whole set; no credits price or option). Is that a planned feature?

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Move Along”:
Very weird stuff, and I mean that in the best possible way.

If you like David Bowie at his best, you're gonna like this track a lot. But again, Ian this is what I mean; you're not going to hear this on the top 40.

It's probably no coincidence that I love Bowie and am forever caught up in chasing the weird, wonderful sounds that I haven't heard yet. :)

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Karmawimp for “Deep Breath”:
You guys are getting stronger, especially rhythmically. Very impressive. Also, I notice a lot of new strength in your vocals and songwriting skills, not to mention your production quality. Its like really high quality pop-punk, now!

I think that you could continue to improve how you are incorporating the vocals. It might be my headphones, but the vocals sound too soft for me...

Thank you,

Thank you for the feed back! It really means a lot. Since we don't know any drummers at the moment, we have been looking into alternatives. For this song I was able to find an artist who sells albums of drum tracks for people to use in their own music. I have also been really looking at the art of recording, trying to get the most out of my instruments with what I have access to, which isn't very much!
In regards to the softness of the vocals, you are probably correct. I'm still trying to figure out this whole mixing business!
As always, thank you for the support!

Yes. I'm still in California, and Roger is still in Arizona. By now, we have definitely gotten a better grasp on how to go about our recording and such. We have a few more songs we are working on at the moment that we are pretty excited about.
