Playing with 3D agina and came up with this, the finished product will make a nice vid for a scifi themed track I think. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h--a2fjQAFI

Great beat, man.

Vocals could be a little clearer, but I also like the strokes-like sound.

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ryan Toth for “XLG”:
Finally getting a chance to hear this one. Well worth the wait, my friend.

Great atmosphere. I love these little choral motifs throughout as well.

I was getting ready to say that it needed more bass, but I think that it kicks in right about the time you're about to demand it, so very nice indeed.
Needs a better ending, though, I think.

Thank you!

Very rich sound my man! Sounds like you took your time with this one, big time.

Has a minimalist quality to it, Oriental. I like it as is. Especially liking this 3D fadeout.

Danke,

Hey Thanks for the comment SHO. I know you say like it as is, but it is not done. I have so many WIPs I need to finish them now, so that this album can get some closure. Still working on the videos for each track.

I am all about the closure, but keep in mind: "Life's WIP and then you fly"© 2014. -- I was reading some Shakespeare recently and all of his stuff was published after he died, probably with a massive amount of edits. Sometimes flubs become an indispensable part of the cannon. I look forward to the videos. -$shoham

I like the basics of the track. I am not sure if the piano part that comes in around 2:40 really works for me, though.

Great start, keep 'em coming. How is the live stuff coming along or is that kaputnik?

Yeah, it was a bit off which rubbed me wrong too. live stuf went down the drain quick, but I'm about to be working with an old friend again doing a lot more of what we used to do. I got some new gear and some new ideas, so we'll see where it goes

Gremlin gave feedback to Rex Yehudi (shoham) for “Each & Every Way”:
This one is very nice indeed.

I like how you have a knack for writing these little songs with an overall moving narrative, something I lack at.

Mine are usually "omg shes so great I am so in love" or "wtf is wrong with me? I am so alone". Pretty much the extent of my songwriting... lol

Uhuh, you've got the good kid --I know the good and you've got them - I am trying to learn to write love songs, and then it never happens! Thanks for the listen -- in all honesty I wrote this trying to come up with a collab, what do you think? -$shoham

Haha well thanks. I guess they are hard to write in the sense that so many have been written that its hard not to come off as cliche, something I try to avoid but am not always successful doing.

I can give it a shot. Blues is definitely not my strong suit but I will see what comes of it. Tis a busy week ahead so I'm not sure when Ill be able to work on it. We shall see. Enjoy the long weekend : )

Thanks. You too. Blues and folk are almost exactly the same, just slightly different rhythms and cadences I think. I don't think you use many if any cliches... -Showie show show

Good to know. I am working on finishing a few tunes this weekend. Perhaps I will tackled this one once I attend to the other half finished ones. Recording is a pain when you just want to churn out song after song like me. I passed 100 songs last week. I never thought I could write so many...
