I was thinking of The Rembrandts and had to wonder why anyone would cover the band that sang the Friends theme song. haha. This is a good song. Ill have to check out the original. It fits your voice well.

thanks a lot lol I heard the friends theme a couple months ago and was thinking someone should do a less wussy version of this, but yeah the replacements, the rembrants, and the romantics sometimes i get confused when i just hear their names, a lot of P bands I get confused to, proclaimers, prodigals, pretenders lol
flag (Sep 17, 2012, 16:39 EDT)
haha. that's a good idea, but yeah, it would take a lot of de-wussifying though

Cool tune. Thanks for making and sharing this, Boy Co.! I hadn't heard it before. I like the vox, and the rhythm guitar as well. Neat stuff with the lead guitar melody as well, kind of Hindustani :D

I would like the vocals to be a little bit louder, but I think that the production value is rather appropriate for the lo-fi style that you were going for otherwise.

Thank you as always,

I actually don't think that this one is really a "Waste" of my or anyone's time. It is experimental, but that's a good thing. Was this from you playing a video game and getting some beats out then recording them? Cool concept, keep going with it my friend!!!!

lol Woah! one of the all time most fun to say 90's catchphrases, I used to work with a guy who called everybody boss, just as slang I guess, that's where "The boss" thing came from......or maybe I assumed you are secretly Bruce Springstien!!!

I'm glad my sister picked up on this one. I hadn't heard it in a while -- well outside of my own memory. Super duper catchy.

I have a question, now that I'm giving it another listen: Was the middle 8 intentionally structured to sound like the middle eight in Unchained Melody??

Thanks again for making this, and sharing it for free. Get thee to the local radio stations, hence!!!!! Great stuff!

Haha! Nope. That's a beautiful song, though. I was looking to create a dramatic buildup, like something from a film score.

It works! I think of the scene in Ghost, where P Swayze + D. Moore are doing their thing at the potter's, with the brother' righteous in the background. Vintage Classic!!!!!!

Great intimate feel on this song, man. I can hear an even bigger track inside it, waiting to burst out. Keep it up!

thank you so much buddy, been playing this one like double speed for the last couple months, this track is inspired by songwritters, the first verse is a nod to the Beatles

Are you going to put these all together into an album? Great stuff. Reminds me of The Walkmen. DO you know them???

Thank you. Also, I tried to buy the track, but it says there's a problem with your PayPal email address. Did you possibly type it in wrong?

Thank you.

Hahaha! I'm not a HUGE Walkmen fan, but this reminded me of that in a very good way. I think they're a little pretensious, to be honest with you -- one these "No, seriously folks, we're indi, we promise, really, seriously" Also, I like your new promotional pictures, the old one was fine, but these are more appropriate to your sound. Can't stop thinking about that sound, man :D Keep on writing, recording, and sharing. Love it! Thank you, -shoham

I really like your choice of chords in this song. Very non-traditional, mixing anticipated chords in with others that caught me off-guard. Good job!

Ian Marquis gave feedback to David Spurlock for “Temporary Enemies”:
I like the 60s lounge/oldies type of feel you've got happening here. The phased synth and chorused guitar create a real wall of sound, but still leave space for your vocals. Good stuff, man!

Gabrielle gave feedback to David Spurlock for “Temporary Enemies”:
I'm glad you put up another song. Good stuff once again! The intruments sound good, but loudness make it hard to hear the vocals in some parts.

Tremendous production value. Another great one that reminds me of early classics by guys like Roy Orbison, The Righteous Brothers, et al.!

Did you get any of your tracks out to the local radio stations?!? I definitely think that this stuff is good to go.

Thanks as always, I'm looking forward to hearing more :D -Shoham
