Holy riffing! There is a TON of energy in this track: frenetic drumming, lead guitar, chugging rhythms - the works. Keep it up!

Great new logo, dudes! We've missed you guys around here. There's another jam band that's been coming around lately "Rabies Clinic". Might be worth a check: www.feed-forward.net/Rabies-Clinic Wouldn't mind hearing a slightly better recording of this track, but the energy is definitly very good! How many mics on this, just one? Turn dat bass up :D

Thank you.

Some really neat experiments in this one, very chill. Again, my one little idea as a singer who has fronted, led, started etc. blues based bands, is that you just might want to make sure that you are making sure to make room in the pocket for that vocalist as there's in some important respects both quantitatively and qualitatively between what a voice is going to be able to do and what a band is doing. That said, more power to you, and go on spend it all in one place :D
Thank you,

PS: Did you make this cover art? It's very fitting for your sound!

Thanks man, we definitely had some fun playing around with this one. Preciate the advice fitting in vocals, once we get going with a singer we will probably re-record it and open it up a bit more for lyrics. Glad you like the new artwork, my sister painted it for me, it definitely gives off the same vibe as our sound haha

VERY cool artwork. Any singer worth her/his salt will probably need the benefit of the doubt. This thing is going places, for sure! Are you guys on UNC campus by any chance???

The Middlemen gave feedback to Rabies Clinic for “Poison Arrows RMI”:
Cool tune, guys, How is gigging going, by the way, or is this from a show/is that what RMI has to do with???

I like the new flavor coming out of the lead guitar, it's cool to hear a little bit of that classic rock fanger effect. Good buildup as well.

Great new clover art as well, how did you make it? Thanks.

Thanks, glad y'all dig it...we're starting to pick up gigs with full set lengths now, slowly getting more frequent. We've been working on a demo over the past few months so that's what these new tracks are, and the RM1 just stands for "Rough Mix 1" haha. Yeah that lead is a delay setting I found that works well with a slide...glad you guys like it, it's a lot of fun to play haha. My sister actually did that painting (well both of them) based off a little sketch of mine, thought I should change it up for the new tracks

and actually here's a clip of us playing it live recently...unfortunately it cuts out towards the end but it's most of the song

It's awesome! We love it. Let your sister know she's got some serious talent. Thanks.

Gabrielle gave feedback to Ian MacPhail for “Darker Light (V3)”:
Very different. I like the ending, and I like how everything sounded off-beat but harmonious at the same time.

Loving the jam. Tone on the guitar sound good. I feel like you guys could come in with a bit more energy, to get the thing off the ground with a little more cook...

That's my two cents, but I'm definitely a fan of the blues. Keep it up and keep in touch, and maybe bring the pace up a little bit, or even a little bit more than that -- then slow it down for these nice solos.

Thank you, -Walax3

Nothing like 1 5 4 3 2 for a melody :P

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian MacPhail for “Darker Light (V3)”:
Nice. A cleaner version than the last one, I think. Very unique, indeed. I still think there's even more to explore with the syncopation of the bassline on this one, but I do like where you are going with it, for sure!

Thank you!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian MacPhail for “Darker Light (V2)”:
I like what you're doing here, my friend. I feel like the rhythm could be tighter in spots, which would be helpful, especially because it's a poly-rhythmic piece. Specifically, I felt like the bass solo in the beginning, from 36" to around 45" was a little bit too sloppy for me, whereas later you got it together better.

Still very interesting, indeed. I love the experimental nature of this tune and am looing forward to hearing what V3 sounds like!!!

My problem is that Garageband won't do multi-tempo music :(

And the bass solo I might give up and just do it with a usb keyboard, since I can't figure out what the timing is.

Also, getting the right instruments for the song is so difficult...

Oh, and the strings at 1:00 are playing the wrong note... Oops.

I wonder why they won't. I don't think that it's something technically difficult to do. When we get electronic instruments set up on here we'll be sure to keep that in mind... keep pushing with it!!!

Like how switches up around 3 min. into the song. I thought there would be vocals but never got bored waiting for them for 6:15 minutes!

Thanks for the feedback, glad you're diggin the track! We will hopefully have a singer soon so we can lay down some vocals, we're trying to keep it interesting in their absence haha. Keep a lookout, there will be many new demo tracks coming in the next few weeks!
