Some really neat experiments in this one, very chill. Again, my one little idea as a singer who has fronted, led, started etc. blues based bands, is that you just might want to make sure that you are making sure to make room in the pocket for that vocalist as there's in some important respects both quantitatively and qualitatively between what a voice is going to be able to do and what a band is doing. That said, more power to you, and go on spend it all in one place :D
Thank you,

PS: Did you make this cover art? It's very fitting for your sound!

Thanks man, we definitely had some fun playing around with this one. Preciate the advice fitting in vocals, once we get going with a singer we will probably re-record it and open it up a bit more for lyrics. Glad you like the new artwork, my sister painted it for me, it definitely gives off the same vibe as our sound haha

VERY cool artwork. Any singer worth her/his salt will probably need the benefit of the doubt. This thing is going places, for sure! Are you guys on UNC campus by any chance???

Chase Risinger gave feedback to Bojko for “Carl Sagan's Green Dream”:
first of all i fuckin love carl sagan, this song is as chaotic as the cosmos he tried helped us understand, and it certainly has it's own sound to it, nice job, whatd you use to record it?
 Jun 18, 2012, 01:34 EDT
thank you very much, used a tascam 8 track DP-02, my old Sigma acoustic guitar for rhythm guitar, my Rockwell Pro electric for lead guitar, my phone on speaker phone and me talking into a mic with a distortion effect for my friend and mine's conversation, and mic and distortion effect while hitting random percussion things and drum kit parts, and a uke with drumsticks for the percussion, and a cooking timer is in there too for good measure lol, glad you liked it!!!

This is some wacky shit right here, but I like it!

"a random song title and then I made a song of it" I happen to think that this is a great method, and one that I have found helpful too.

Where did you get the voice over stuff from?

Like I said, this is some wacky shit, and like I said, it's my kind of wacky!
 May 26, 2012, 21:19 EDT
lol thanks man uh the voice over was me calling my friend who gave me the title (and a one chord to use F). as the clock winded down on our contest I called him and put it on speaker phone and recorded our conversation in place of writing lyrics then i used the timer I had set as percussion, and hit some random drum set stuff around my room and recorded that cause i didn't have time to work out an actual drum part, probably for the best, that way i put more time into the mixing and had it done in time! thanks again man glad you liked it here's my buddys song his title or theme i gave him was "Drinking on memorial day" and he asked for a letter I said D so he wrote it in the key of D
flag (May 27, 2012, 01:58 EDT)
it has more chords than F, just part of the contest was we gave each other one letter and that letter had to be the first chord or the key, then we gave each other titles it was a friday, it was a lot of fun though!!

Nice new sound, I'm looking forward to checking out the album when it's finished up.

This is a unique sound, but I can hear hints of your roots, and background with the classic boogie woogie rhythm through all the psychedelia!

Still working with the conceptual sounds that will be reocuring in the album. Tweaking with the song list and layout structure.

I'll release a new song thats going to be on it soon.

Very weird tune -- in a good way, though. What 'key' if any is this actually in? Vocals sound stellar, and as a composition it's really cohesive. I especially like what I think is a maj 7th at the end? That's a great way to end songs, I think, and reminded me of the Jazz era!

Great job, Rebecca! Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoy this, very big sounding and atmospheric. I also really like the singers voice gives it a eerie feeling.

Wow, I REALLY like this. So chaotic sounding, yet so beautiful. I'll definitely check more of your stuff out!

Very weird. Is "sound art" a real genre/art? I would not really listen to this on a music player, but sounds interesting.
 Nov 10, 2011, 13:05 EST
I wouldn't call it a genre. It's just taking sound file and making new interesting sounds using effects and editing. It's more about listening and what you're mind interprets the new sounds as.

"fuck balls" was one of my favorite years for sound art music :P I like this -- sounds like you got some lion sounds in there :D Oops, I see -- it's a tiger -- well I was close!

Pierre Schaeffer would be proud. Too short, though ;p

Ha! Thanks, i'm taking a computers and music class and this is just one of my assignments, required me to make a 1:00 song. Just coming up with the one minute of random stuff is hard, I've started on a longer one now, it shall be grand.
