Bojko gave feedback to Chris Hoffmeister for “Falling Tonight”:
love the backround noise at the start, very cool laid back spacey riffs! sets a great mood beautiful maybe almost bittersweet but like a light at the end of a tunnel too, love 1:55 picks up, strings don't sound to bad you can tell they are synth-d but a cool melody I think personaly they sound better as backround, 3:30 pick up is epic, are the drums real or computered, they sound real, and really good too, love the ending back to the start riff, Awesome! very cool song, great work!!!

Thanks man! I'm definitely having some issues making strings sound more real, I've almost accepted that as just a sad truth to synth strings but if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear em. The drums are synth as well but I recently bought Komplete 8 and it's got some great virtual sets.

I'm with ya man a lot of keyboard effects sound like that, the only thing I could think of to make it sound different is if your already doing it DI maybe try recording it into a mic with some reverb or some tinkering with levels or effects on over some speaker or an amp, other wise yeah it's just what the DI gives ya

Terrific tune. I agree with jzc, I'd like to know what's going on here in the background. Do you plan to add vocals. I think this could be a really good one with vocal added. I like when the drums come in, but I feel like that middle section from about 2:40 to 3:00 could be using a more effective synth parch.

Thank you, 0G

The background noise is mostly just a mixture of effects on the guitar. I actually just bought Komplete 8 and I'm still working my way around it. Thanks for the comment though!

thanks for the comment! A couple weeks overall. With school and work I don't have much downtime :/ and I also have a horrendous singing voice so until I find a singer..

This song is so cool! All the different crazy sounds flow into eachother so smoothly. So vintage it's futuristic . . .

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian MacPhail for “Sharp Force”:
Nice production, here :D Looking forward to an extension of the themes, but I like where this is going.

Kind of eery, has an early free-jazz vibe to it!

It's one of the first I've done by hand, where I didn't notate it because it was full of things I couldn't do manually.
Obviously it's based on a Major 7 Chord with a #11 which = #4 Hence the name Sharp Fours... Force.

OK, It's good. I really enjoy the wild little voices in this piece. I'm most excited about your RAW event. I've always found that the best, and most insightful, feedback is the kind that you can only get while playing your music in front of a live audience :D

RAW: Is that like Monday Night RAW?

If you ever get this message, let it be one to one and all, far and wide that I think that this is a good length for a track! Could be like 22" longer...

Strings sound so classy and dramatic. I like it! Yeah, definitely too short.

I don't know what that is! Like playing a tape backwards or am I totally off? Tried to look it up but not sure if I get it . . .

It's playing it backwards, basically :)

Oh, okay. Yeah, I would like to hear how that sounds, cause it sounds like it could be backwards now because of the arrangement of notes. That might be really interesting.

Has a lot of good variation. I think I like the mix on this one better than some of the other versions. Richer? Where you at bo'? Haven't heard from you in a long time!

On vacation, trying to promote my music. I am going to do a RAW event in October, my first Audience. This track is getting a lot of good feedback. How you been?

Excellent -- now don't get TOOOOOO cocky ;O I would recommend going to universities in Washington and getting your tracks (in disc form) out to the college radio stations as a next step. These are the most open platforms that also have an immediate and large impact (every time they play your tracks they get at least 100+ listens at minimum).

Don't worry about my ego, But Portland RAW wants me to present so I am going to. You should see the soundcloud comments on this track :

And I am still not getting email updates, nothing in my spam folder.

Also, I know that it's "Totally 20th Century" but please do get these tracks delivered (preferably by hand) to the big college radio stations in your area -- it's a really good endorsement, good for your brand, and good for your resume to be on rotation, and they will play the works that you send in, even if they don't pay you or tell you when. Also, I can't figure out the email notes issue, still on the case though!
