I actually don't think that this one is really a "Waste" of my or anyone's time. It is experimental, but that's a good thing. Was this from you playing a video game and getting some beats out then recording them? Cool concept, keep going with it my friend!!!!

lol Woah! one of the all time most fun to say 90's catchphrases, I used to work with a guy who called everybody boss, just as slang I guess, that's where "The boss" thing came from......or maybe I assumed you are secretly Bruce Springstien!!!

A very pretty and simple song.

Great job on keeping the middle eighth together and also the percussion.

I'm sure she will love it.

Pretty song! Nice photo, did you take it? Ladies love love songs. This one could use some harmonies. I might see if I can't add some, if you don't mind/if I can get my microphone working right! Thanks for sharing, -showie

I do not mind whatsoever - I couldn't think of any harmonies I liked, so I decided to keep it simple... That being said, I encourage you to play with it!

Really cooky vocal thing you've got going on here. I like it! Very lo-fi. Can't complain. Hand clap for percussion? Nice. Thanks.

Cool cover. Did you use an effect on your version. Sounds like it. If so, what did you use? Thanks.

Very ambient, dude. Enjoyed it a lot. Neat concept, nice to see you turned a bad situation into a good one!

Is this a voice-over of you, or did you get it from somewhere?

Let me know if you get paid. Thanks for sharing,

Thanks! I agree on the equipment comment- to an extent. At some point, however, trying to record voice-over and picking up everything in a two-block radius because your microphone is horrid can become a nuisance.

Haha, yeah, I hear you. I just mean that it can sometimes be one of those overcompensation things, especially for bands (which is the context that I usually work in), where everyone is so worried about their gear that they don't pay any attention to what anyone else is playing, or how the chemistry is with everyone!

I'm pretty sure that's how a friend's band in high school met their end- or at least, from what I remember him saying about it. Not so much the equipment in general but rather how they interacted with each other as a unit. Which is a shame, because they had a few decent tracks.
flag (Jan 30, 2012, 00:09 EST)
Yeah, it's why most bands fail, I think! There's usually no boss, like with most groups of people, even orchestras have a conductor ;p

Neat track, very mellow, and the harmonies are really great. Thanks for sharing. What software, if any did you use to make this, I like what you've done to the vocals.

Can't figure out who your voice sounds like, but I like it, even when it goes in and out of sync with the rest of the music. Very unique, thanks again :D

PS: I like the sepia tone cover art.
