JZC gave feedback to Jake DeBacher for “Soundtrack Excerpt 1”:
I really enjoyed that and would like to hear more of your composition...

This has a really good vibe to it. You should look into polishing up the timings of some of the delay feebacks, every once in a while something just gets a little bit out of time. Maybe think about adding an extra layer of something about 3/4 of the way through (before it slows down and goes into more straight chords) to make it a little more intense, build it up a little more before it comes back down, but that's in no way a necessity.
That being said, I really like it, man. Do you listen at all to Angels & Airwaves? The start of this had me thinking of Et Ducit Mundum Per Luce, but in a much darker way.

I too have used Reason in the past, and I must say if you enjoy that program, I recommend Ableton, bc the overall sound quality is better and it is more functional. I enjoy ambient stuff, growing up on Eno and the like, so I can get into this easily, but it probably doesn't appeal to a wide audience on here. Just ignore any haters : ) Your other tracks are sounding good as well. Keep it up.

Is this your own original theme, or is it from the game? I never played Zelda much, so I'm not sure. Either way, the piano part sounds pretty good, well composed. Is this Midi, or did you perform it yourself?

Could use some more bass, perhaps!

Some people played a couple notes out of key for the intro/outro chords.... But the middle section sounds great.

Awesome! Did you do the composition in Finale or something?

I used musescore, the open source version of finale/sibelius. :)

Is there some way on feed-forward that selling a score could be done?...

Good question. At this point, there's no way to sell the digital copy of a piece of sheet music, BUT if it's a physical copy you're selling then you can upload an image to represent the score, and then add a price and shipping information. -S

I really like this track. The guitar riff has a Hotel California sound to it, or maybe it is the percussion, either way, it is not a bad thing! Well done.

Neat track, wish it were a little longer, otherwise enjoyed the Arabesque feel. Does the bar-code do anything???

This is really settling to listen to. Perfect amount of delay. The progression has a way of carrying the sound without getting boring and the swells add a nice level of intensity. The part that changed up at the end tops it off perfectly. I have a feeling this would sound really awesome in a post rock band setting with lots of feedback, swells, drum crashes. Great way to loose yourself on an ambient adventure. Nicely done.
