David Samuel Partamian gave feedback to The Closers for “Lolly”:
I liked the anti-utopian feel to the lyrics, as well as the grungy sound. Thanks for the great song!

I'm glad my sister picked up on this one. I hadn't heard it in a while -- well outside of my own memory. Super duper catchy.

I have a question, now that I'm giving it another listen: Was the middle 8 intentionally structured to sound like the middle eight in Unchained Melody??

Thanks again for making this, and sharing it for free. Get thee to the local radio stations, hence!!!!! Great stuff!

Haha! Nope. That's a beautiful song, though. I was looking to create a dramatic buildup, like something from a film score.

It works! I think of the scene in Ghost, where P Swayze + D. Moore are doing their thing at the potter's, with the brother' righteous in the background. Vintage Classic!!!!!!

Are you going to put these all together into an album? Great stuff. Reminds me of The Walkmen. DO you know them???

Thank you. Also, I tried to buy the track, but it says there's a problem with your PayPal email address. Did you possibly type it in wrong?

Thank you.

Paypal got hacked, please take it, sir. I would be honored.
I do know of the Walkmen, I thought their latest stuff was ok...

Hahaha! I'm not a HUGE Walkmen fan, but this reminded me of that in a very good way. I think they're a little pretensious, to be honest with you -- one these "No, seriously folks, we're indi, we promise, really, seriously" Also, I like your new promotional pictures, the old one was fine, but these are more appropriate to your sound. Can't stop thinking about that sound, man :D Keep on writing, recording, and sharing. Love it! Thank you, -shoham

Ian Marquis gave feedback to Something-Keen for “Toxic Remix”:
I really love hearing pop songs remade in another style. This one is great, and I was really thrown off by the acoustic intro, too.

Ian Marquis gave feedback to The Problem We All Live With for “10-1-10”:
Excellent use of drone, dreamy textures, and delay/reverb to create a truly dense soundscape. I can imagine this playing over a flyover sequence, or a slow-motion descent through the ocean.

Ian Marquis gave feedback to Ragnar Pétur for “Young Boy in a Coffin”:
I love the chords and arpeggios you chose for this song. I feel like I'm sitting close to the stage in a tiny, silent bar with the lights turned all the way down, listening to something surreal. This is an excellent track.

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “(deleted)”:
I totally agree with JZC, another awesome 80's-type track! I also liked the little bit of what I think was an Indian flair at the start.

I can definitely hear the Robert Smith influence on this one -- and that's definitely a good thing :D

I would love to hear some vocal harmonies one this track, too!

Thank you.

Thank YOU.

I've really been hitting a stride recently, upgrading my sound, and I realized I hadn't put any of my recent work on Feed Forward. I decided to fix that, because I think these new songs are some of my strongest work to date. I'm completely stoked that you agree!

I am gearing up for a big promo period, but have been so busy I haven't had a chance to reach out to many stations yet. I want to send out a ton of letters and copies of The Man Forgotten, and then turn around in a bit and hit everyone with the new album when it's done. Also, I am planning some experimental videos.
