Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Rex Yehudi (shoham) for “4GLB”:
Wait a minute, this is a pretty good tune. Good job me :-) Kind of reminds me of Philip Glass. By, do I have a funny story about that guy...

So I was helping a 'friend' move Phillip Glass's son's stuff from one Greenwich Village brownstone to another, and long story short, I never got paid for the move, never met PG, had to get a last minute train back to Pittsboro. But I do have a Buddhism Today magazine with the Dalai Llama on the cover and P. Glassies name and address for proof, so that's something, at least...

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Bojko for “Good People”:
Another good one. I'd definitely like to hear this one with some more instruments and a clearer vocal track. Otherwise, yes I think that this WILL make a great last track on your album :)

thanks!

thanks a lot again, got a kinda country-esque guitar lead part on the first recording of this I did I gotta add to a more concrete take (it was the hey let's improv/write songwritters demo this, and the vocals were super low, the mix was just bad but that lead part sounded really good it in the song) we'll get it going soon! I'll let ya know... as always thanks so much dude

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Stereoscopic for “Artificial Sunset”:
I like the bass drum that kicks in around twenty seconds in.

I feel like this tune is going places, though I'd like to hear a more solid rhythm instrument in their as well -- keyboards or a rhythm guitar, because I think it needs more chords.

Still a very good tune. Do you use FL Studio? I think you told me before...

Thanks.

Actually, I use Ableton Live. Thanks for the feedback!

Cool tune. Quirky as hell. Sound quality is not bad at all. Everyone sounds really tight together. Sounds kind of like an old-timey tune, and those definitely don't need to be too over-produced by any means...

Do you guys have some kind of band that you're putting together? I though you were pretty much a one man operation. This is going to be popular music for a live audience!!!

i got an mxl v63m condensor on my vocals, and a shure sm57 on the guitar, the v63m also picks up all the percussion but not as well as i'd like. Dylan rocks my world

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Ryan Toth for “if I told you”:
Are these your vocals? The whole thing sounds pretty damn tight, even though I don't usually like auto-tune. The rain is pouring ;) LOL.

These speakers on my machine are NOT the best, but I think this track needs a little more bass. Otherwise, if this is an original, it has a huge amount of radio potential. Kid, you're gonna be a star -- a big, bright, shining ★.
Thanks,

mixing the bass is killing me. I keep thinking i can mix in these bose speakers then I realize that I have cut the bass out. It's boosted at 50hrz so it only comes out in the subs. I was thinking a bass line would fit above that frequency. I'm going to do another mix cuz I have more vocals to add

So the vocals are yours??? Very cool. Yeah, I should have a subwoofer for this machine, if I'm going to be a musician. lol, but this one is coming out really well, I think :)
