Pretty neat stuff, guys :D Sounds like the more you guys jam together, the better and better you're getting at doing what you're doing!

Could use slightly more variation somewhere in the mix, like a little more exploration in what you started at 2:35, but like you said it's a WIP. Otherwise, a really good start!

Thanks for sharing,

Thanks! This one is just me playing drums and guitar. I just overdubbed the tracks.

Thought-provoking piece, man. Really enjoyed the harmonies and some nice rips on the 6 string as well.

Probably your best yet, IMHO.

The Airvents gave feedback to The Middlemen for “Starstruck”:
Totally reminds of The Strokes, and that is not a bad thing. I really like the sound of the vocals, and whatever you are using for the guitar is sick. Great tune! And thanks for the download!

Thanks Memmott :D I like the sound of the vox to, though I can't take full credit. I sang the lead, and wrote the lyrics, but the production was done by our guitarist, Dino. Thanks a lot for letting us know. And thanks for the download, too -- feel free to share the link, or download with your friends :O

Excellent. You can really do somethin' with this stuff.I'd use a different guitar sound & let it go for an extra bar.A kinda "All along the watchtower" return & send - it'd suit the song title - just constructive critique

Nice tune. I like the feeling. Its laid back, yet in some way least it is this way for me haha. I like the crunchy sound to it all and it kinda reminds me of You Really Got Me by The Kinks....which is a good thing haha. Once again great work, and thanks for the free download!

Thanks! I don't know who they are, but I'll have to check them out for sure. It's a name your price download, with no minimum-- so feel free to take a copy, if you wish. We actually got this one on the local clear channel alt-rock station in Pittsburgh several times. Of course, they don't tell you when they are going to play your music, or that they did -- a-holes!!! Thanks again :) -Ari

granbury texas. we paid 10k to do advertising to promote a music fest we put on. they played a lot of the bands we had booked on their local show and put an add out for us that had lot's of air time. in the end it was only good for the bands that got played. the advertisement didn't help our even much

Granbury, Tx -- sounds hot about now. Advertising can be tricky.
