Cool mellow tune. Sounds soulful.

Great piece, very relaxing and meditative!

Very weird tune -- in a good way, though. What 'key' if any is this actually in? Vocals sound stellar, and as a composition it's really cohesive. I especially like what I think is a maj 7th at the end? That's a great way to end songs, I think, and reminded me of the Jazz era!

Great job, Rebecca! Thanks for sharing.

The Middlemen gave feedback to The Problem We All Live With for “Tiger”:
Very nice and mellow. A sleeping tiger??? Only critique: It could build up a little bit more in terms of dynamics -- like a crescendo at the end? Just my two cents. I do like the syncopation about 2:50 in, and the little guitar motif there as well. Guitar could be slightly tighter, rhythmically though, perhaps...

What DAW are you using?
Thank you for sharing your music :D

Good to see you're still continuing to work on this project. I think it has great potential, but IMHO, it could start off at a much quicker tempo -- somehow it's dragging a bit for me the more I listen to more versions of it.

I don't necessarily know how much faster you'd want to go with it, but I think that the melody is very pretty, and that the rhythm is good, still something about the tempo, for me is a bit of a drag...

Well I did increase the tempo by 5 BPM mainly from your prevoius comments, but any more than that an the piece is less than 3 minutes long and I will have to add content, which currently I really don't want to do.
I have been getting mostly positive feedback on this piece from reddit and forums.

Thanks for listening and commenting bud.

Sure, but why does it need to be more than 3? 2-2:45 is an historical sweet spot for many compositions.

I don't know I guess I like my songs to be longer than 3 minutes long, because I think less than 3 is too short IMHO. Perhaps I will make a Speedy Mix at 2:30 and see what it sounds like and post it for ya.

Nice! So I get an attribution credit, right*!?!
The thing that I've found in song-writing over the years (since 1997 -- the the 20th Century!!!!) is that most composers break stuff down (even in long classical pieces) into 2-3 minute sections, and it's especially true for pieces with lyrics. I don't think the Beatles had more than a handful of songs avove 2:45 but in your defense, you're writing in a different genre altogether.

Megatherian gave feedback to tawmy for “Wake Up”:
I really like this very Pink Floyd-esque. the piano/keyboard work was awesome, but I couldn't really hear the acoustic. But good job! Looking forward to more.

I really enjoy this, very big sounding and atmospheric. I also really like the singers voice gives it a eerie feeling.

Megatherian gave feedback to Rebecca Peake for “Airship Dream Ride”:
What's that heavily distorted drone in the background of this track? I really like it, it's nasty, which brings out the prettiness of everything else. Reminds me of russian fuzz sludge metal bass. haha. I really like your pic for this track. The vocals really set this up as a good psychadelic song, makes me feel like I'm listening to a mix of sleepytime gorilla museum and this band Rivid that I know.

Wow, I REALLY like this. So chaotic sounding, yet so beautiful. I'll definitely check more of your stuff out!
