Stereoscopic gave feedback to The Closers for “The Utilitarian Rag”:
I really like the production here. The sounds mesh together very nicely. I think the vocals could stand out a little more.

Hey, Cal. Thanks. I'm the vocalist, so I definitely appreciate the push for louder vocals :D This was kind of an experimental production, but yeah, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. Thanks for listening, and for the feedback!

The Middlemen gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Jericho”:
Lots of potential! Anything you can do about this annoying stuff in the first 22 seconds? Kind of lost my attention there for a minute, not that it's the end of the world, but I think that it's a good song, and the beginning didn't really add much to it.

Anything, very strong voice, and good support from the instruments as well.

This one could be 12 minutes long and I'd still like it. HUGE potential :D

Dam now that some good music. Love the guitar work. Wish I could play the guitar like that. Smooth and well played. Vocals are great.

Thanks Kelly. I don't really like my vocals, as I don't think I have a very good voice. I can the ideas across though.

Well, your voice is many orders of magnatude better than mine. I wish I had a even passable singing voice.

Megatherian gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Jericho”:
Nice groovy song, you guys have a good vocalist. The recording quality is fine, there are no problems there. You guys sound like you would play good festival shows. One EQ suggestion would be to maybe up the bass a little. There's a distinct lack of bass frequency in this track that makes it a little difficult to dance to. Other than that, good work!

Thank you. As the vocalist, I really appreciate it :) I wish we had stuff that was better to dance to in general. We do like to play outside -- we played a four hour set -- no breaks for the Pittsburgh marathon last year, which was pretty cool + you can usually get better crowds outdoors :) Thanks again, -Shoham

Megatherian gave feedback to The Middlemen for “Nuclear Holocaust”:
This is a cool song that is easy to move to. There isn't a lot to suggest that is out of the bounds of fixing up some recording problems. I know how expensive that can be, so it's not really an issue that is likely to get fixed overnight. Haha. Just think of it from the listener's perspective, they'll likely never know how good you sound if the recording isn't 10,000X better than anything that we musicians can afford. Keep up the good work though, like I said, this is a good song.

Thanks, Megatherian. That's a huge compliment, especially considering that this is what I consider to be a pretty crappy (but fun) recordings, as you said. This was the first song I ever wrote, in Middle School, about 15 years ago now!!! Still looking for a killer recording of this one, at least for fun. I think you'll actually like this one better, as it's pretty well produced, IMO, and having listened to a number of your tunes, possibly up your alley:

Gotta dig the blues man. This is great. Has that classic dirty blues feel. I agree with the guy below me; it does have a John Lee Hooker feel. Great job, as always.

Sounds good -- I hear The Edge influence for sure. Honestly, one of the best renditions of this song that I've ever heard -- beat Dylan and even Clapton's, although I do like Guns 'n' Roses' version a lot, too.... Could actually use a bit more rip in the solo, around 3:30-3:50, and even from 5:00 to 5:15 IMHO...

ThanX Shoham, I'd like to re-record and produce this myself. No offense to Mr. Pritchard, but I think I can make it sound even better now that I have my own studio set up again.

Right click the cubes on my site to find out how to create your own.
