Kode of Bliss gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Spark”:
Ian, I have to say all of your song sound so clean (in a good way) this one is no exeption. Do you do the mastering yourself? You also have a great voice, wish I could say the same. Keep em coming dude.

Hey, thank you! Yep - I do all my own production and mastering. And I'm glad you like my voice. I'm really working to try and make it better, because I have a lot of learning to do. You know, if you're interested, I've got all my albums up for free download on Bandcamp (www.ianmarquismusic.com) - feel free to grab them if you like!

Cool song. Everything sounded great. my only comment would be that I did not think that the vocoded part worked for me.

Hey, thank you! I've been trying to improve my ability to make decent songs for years now. I've gotten better, but I still can't really get many people to listen!

to be honest, I think it's the cover. You look very serious in the picture--I would not have expected that kind of music. you need something more vibrate for the cover to get more people to listen and appreciate your talent

I thought I had set the album artwork to show, but I guess I didn't. I'm fixing that now.

Megatherian gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Spark”:
Love that synth, reminds me of my childhood listening to 80's pop. Significantly darker overall feeling though, I like how you combined the "all sunshine" of 80's music with the part at 1:20ish. Keep it up!

tawmy gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “Anchor (Live)”:
... it's pretty good for being recorded off the floor ... cool grooves, nice time changes, great vocal hooks, catchy guitar lines ... I'd definitely buy a studio version of this song, and more like it.

funny you should say, because we do have a studio version: http://www.feed-forward.net/w.1002_Anchor#

I think that it's one of my favorite recordings that I've ever been involved with and come to think of it, I don't think we've ever sold a copy of it... It's a free download, payment optional, of course ;)

Thanks for the + feedback, tawmy :-) I'll have to check some of yours now!

WalaWalaWala gave feedback to Aldaraia for “And When The Sky Was Opened”:
I love what you guys are doing with your vocals, here. I'm a vocalist myself, and am always trying to get folks in bands I'm in to allow me to get more adventurous with my vox. Some cool ambient stuff instrumentally as well. No complaints on this one from me. I'd like to see you live, do you guys ever get to Pittsburgh?

It's just me working on this music, but I plan on getting a band together in the spring/early summer of next year and start performing, and I've been planning on hitting Pennsylvania since I started considering performing live.

If you wanna keep updated, my website is http://modulo23.com. From there you can find links to twitter, tumblr, facebook, wherever. All the music is free, I encourage you to download it and share it.

Glad you enjoyed this song, even now it's one of my favorites and one of my prouder moments.

And he's back.

What are you using to record this? I like the effect on the voice. This is some damn good new-wave style rock 'n' roll, and I like it :D

Let me know if and when you get my payment.

I received a notice for your payment last night - thank you! I record entirely at my desk, microphone to sound card, and produce in FL Studio.

This morning and last night I finished uploading my entire finished album, The Man Forgotten, to Feed-Forward. You can find all the new tracks on my profile. There are 15 of them, and a lot to listen to. I hope you enjoy them!

Listening to "The Man Forgotten" now. Very impressive. It's hard to go back and re-work old works, but it's a great idea, I think. Also, a challenge to do a whole album by oneself. Are you going to be able to play these out anywhere? Also, make sure to hand deliver the album in physical form with a nice note to every radio station you can in Bangor. You will certainly get a lot of radio time, just make sure you give the delivery that 'personal touch' :D

My favorite is "Daedalus Heard". I like the vox on that one, as well as the guitar solos :D Good textures throughout XD

When I first posted tracks, they were in progress. Now, the album is out the door and all wrapped up. It was a ton of work, but I'm really proud of the results. I'm getting my first small run of printed CDs tomorrow. I haven't had any luck getting local stations to play my stuff in the past, but maybe this time will be different. Wish me luck! Oh, and I'm glad you liked Daedalus Heard - that's one of my favorites, too. :)

Nice. Keep pushing those local stations, and don't be sure that they haven't played it. I've found that they wouldn't necessarily tell you if they did!
