I like your album cover

Cool. I had not heard of City of Caterpillar. I'll have to give the original a listen too, but I like what you are doing here.

Very ambient, very pleasant, kind of creepy at times, but I liked it a lot. Thanks for sharing.

I wish I could play guitar as well as you do. I'm not really a musician, just a singer ;p LOL,

Thanks :]
Unfortunately, City of Caterpillar never recorded this song in a studio. Or they have, and it was never released. I think there's a rumor that it will come out sometime... maybe.

I used this video as a reference: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRgRciwOhoo
Thanks again :]

Awesome noise here at the beginning, really got me in the mood with this wind sample!

I'm liking the build up a lot, but I feel like the mix isn't doing 100% justice to the performances, my honest opinion would be to bring the piano and drums out front a bit more from earlier in the piece.

Nice melodies throughout, very triumphant build. Drum rolls are very cool here in the middle as well :)

What DAW are you using?
Thanks for sharing!

awesome thanks for the feedback :)
so the noises at the intro is actually a tape machine (a studer 2-track.) we bounced a lot of the tracks down to the tape machine then back into pro tools. that noise is a few of the tracks, recorded at 15ips, but played at some ridiculously slow speed.
