Gabrielle gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Chasing Windmills”:
I like the lyrics-not sure I know what they mean but mysterious lyrics are good.
Sounds like there was a lot of attention to detail with this song. Cool sound fx especially at the ending.

heavysounds gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Move Along”:
I am enjoying this song. It is well arrenged. I love music and I was born to do music. I first taught that you're a lady but latter knew that you are a man. Greater vibes.

tawmy gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Only In Your Dreams”:
i really like this song even with sparse lyrics and drums/percussion ... nice work on the guitars, interesting synths, great arrangement and production ... You're OK !

Yeah, I think that the extension works, because you spread it out over the entirety of the track and not just at the end of the track, which would have been the easier way out. Impressive turnaround time, too!

I would say send this one out, too,

Yeah, I thought it made sense to take everything that went into the lift of that chorus and use it to create an outro that kept the track moving. I'll include this in my "release" package, too.

AWESOME! And keep my abreast of how your campaign goes with local stations.

Great build. Well worth the recordathon, Ian. I could use a longer outro, but it was definitly good enough to make me want to buy the lossless version.

Good job. Thanks,

Thank you!

I really wanted to keep this one strongly "pop" with a shorter length, but now that you mention it, it might be kind of fun to do an extended mix - maybe even a six-minute cut.

WOW! That sounds like a good option. Also, radio stations sometimes want (and need) extended cuts...

Okay, I went ahead and did it on the spot. Check it out:

Ian Marquis gave feedback to DISCOVER for “Break through”:
The tempo and arrangement here almost transform the piano into another instrument entirely. It's surprising, but I like it. I can almost hear room for a break or bridge where the frenetic playing lets up, even if briefly, before crashing back into the main track again.

Either way, I like the feeling you've got going. Good stuff!

Ian Marquis gave feedback to Lorenzo Pagano for “Funk Thing”:
Excellent bass tone and low-fi, crunchy drum groove! This is just catchy as hell.

Ian Marquis gave feedback to The Middlemen for “Don't Cut Me Out”:
One second into this track and I absolutely love the rawness of the mix. The guitar is sharp as a knife; the bass is tight, and the drums are punchy. I'd maybe like to see the vocals occupy a bit less space in the stereo field (they overpower some of the instrumentals), but this is good stuff.

Yeah, I have NEVER liked the vocals on this one. We did it sort of 'last minute' and I didn't even have any lyrics ready when we got going. Thank you for the ideas. If you want, give it a remix! Thank you for listening, Ian!

Do you have the stems? I'd love to do a mix!

Sadly no. This is from a number of years ago at this point. There was a problem with the hard drive so we lost the stems and a bunch of tracks for the album we were making!!!

Ian Marquis gave feedback to Christie Grinham for “Silhouettes”:
Very nice contrast between the trip-hop feel of the drums and the singer-songwriter vibe of the guitar and vocals.
