The maestro returns!

Very cool tribute to the best brand in the world. Yes I do like an ice cold carbonated beverage, but for me it can be any brand. Still, the brand of Coca-Cola cannot be beat! What is the indigenous form of Coke in Brazil?
Great montage. If I were Coca-Cola, I would hire you!

Shoham : Oh my friend .. you put me shy ( I'm a extremely one ) when you say maestro lol . I really like the warm enviroment of FeedForward . Here in Brazil we have a delicious beverage named Guaraná . The leader in sales is Antarctica ( http://www.guaranaantarctica.com.br/ ) . The base of it is the fruit of the plant guaraná ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guarana ) . The powder of the seed of this plant is a powerful energetic , with a good level of caffeine . Thank you very much for your comment .

This looks delicious! I was in Peru and Bolivia about a year and a half ago, but didn't see this drink. They had Mate de Coca and also some other soft drinks we don't have in EEUU, but not this one. I'll see if I can get it here, but there are not too many Brazilians in Pittsburgh. Thanks again, -$shoham

I like this one. Much slower pace than banjo ride but just as good. What's a resonator guitar?

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to CEBE MUSIC for “Zaranda Banjo”:
Very rocking, man :] Sounds like so,something from the Olde Country! Are you playing banjo too? It has an interesting history. Did it come to Brazil from Africa, or through North America to Brazil?

In the United States, it has a reputation that it was an instrument only slaves played from 1600-1800. Now it is mostly associated with Country music in the United States, which is somewhat ironic! Great track, Cebe, -S

Shoham , really glad that you enjoy this piece . I believe that the Banjo arrived here from both ways but what came with it from America prevailed for what is Country and Rural Music scene in Brazil . For Samba and Pagode a 4 strings is the deal . Banjo is a wonderful instrument full of joy and American music pulses deeply into my heart . Thanks for the info my friend .

I am in Pittsburgh -- I think that there is an interesting history for you in some of the music and tradition of 19th Century music coming out of the area. Did I mention Stephen Foster before? He wrote "Oh Suzanna!" The famous lyric is "Oh Suzanna, don't you cry for me, well I come from Alabama with a banjo on my knee!" He was born in my neighborhood, Lawrenceville. There is a sculpture of him not far from Lawrenceville. I think it is a strange sculpture and not flattering for many reasons, but here it is -- near where I am at the moment, in Oakland, another neighborhood in Pittsburgh: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/229/467999097_28de85582b.jpg

Here Stephen Foster is depicted as taking notes as a slave plays with a Banjo on his knee.

Thoughts??? It is a complicated history!

Very scary sounds here, Cebe. Erie even. Has a very early jazz, boogie-woogie, devil's music quality to it :]

A real wild number, sounds something like Django Reinhardt, too. I wish you could be in Pittsburgh next Saturday -- we will have a Stephen Foster music festival! Have you heard of him?

Good to have you back.

Cool. Yes, you will like his music, I think. He is from here, but his music had an influence all over the world! He helped bring blues to the world -- by working with slaves and learning their music!

That would be great!!! I am only concerned about being allowed in, as I lack (1) A visa to Brazil, which I think I have to get while in the U.S. and a shot they might require. If those two things are non-issues, I WILL take you up on your offer! And thank 1,000,000 :) -Shoham
