I too have used Reason in the past, and I must say if you enjoy that program, I recommend Ableton, bc the overall sound quality is better and it is more functional. I enjoy ambient stuff, growing up on Eno and the like, so I can get into this easily, but it probably doesn't appeal to a wide audience on here. Just ignore any haters : ) Your other tracks are sounding good as well. Keep it up.

Is this your own original theme, or is it from the game? I never played Zelda much, so I'm not sure. Either way, the piano part sounds pretty good, well composed. Is this Midi, or did you perform it yourself?

Could use some more bass, perhaps!

Some people played a couple notes out of key for the intro/outro chords.... But the middle section sounds great.

Awesome! Did you do the composition in Finale or something?

I used musescore, the open source version of finale/sibelius. :)

Is there some way on feed-forward that selling a score could be done?...

Good question. At this point, there's no way to sell the digital copy of a piece of sheet music, BUT if it's a physical copy you're selling then you can upload an image to represent the score, and then add a price and shipping information. -S

I really like this track. The guitar riff has a Hotel California sound to it, or maybe it is the percussion, either way, it is not a bad thing! Well done.

This is the music that gives my soul meaning, that drives me to exist.

Neat track, wish it were a little longer, otherwise enjoyed the Arabesque feel. Does the bar-code do anything???

This is really settling to listen to. Perfect amount of delay. The progression has a way of carrying the sound without getting boring and the swells add a nice level of intensity. The part that changed up at the end tops it off perfectly. I have a feeling this would sound really awesome in a post rock band setting with lots of feedback, swells, drum crashes. Great way to loose yourself on an ambient adventure. Nicely done.

Ryan Toth gave feedback to tawmy for “Blinded”:
very well polished, sounds like something you would hear on a satriani or vai album. excellent musicianship, I would love to hear you with a live band !

... ThanX Ryan, I appreciate the feedback. There was a time when I was in a few bands, but life on the road doesn't appeal to me. I prefer being home and doing as I please. Satch or Vai I'm not. It took me several takes to play this piece, and forget almost everything once it's down. I enjoy creating and moving on. It would bore me to pieces having to play the same songs night after night unless I had an immense repertoire like the Stones, U2 etc. I have recorded probably over 1000 compositions / songs but 2/3 of them are just initial concepts.

Very chill. Nice licks. Has an '80's vibe.

What are you using to produce your tracks -- what recording software, I mean.

Yeah. I just bought "Wake Up", actually. Let me know if and when you it goes through. I have an uncle who has been composing and recording for over 50 years, and even when a major symphony like the NYPH plays his works he only gets a few grand, so I'm always reminded not to take not making a living off of music personally. I got him to put some of his stuff on here: http://www.feed-forward.net/david You'll dig it, I imagine :D

PS: Apologies for two message, but I should mention, all of his recordings are free downloads... We're trying to help him get his music out, especially to the younger generations. He's actually well into his 70's now...

It went through, and thanks so much. There are many talented musicians / artists that have to keep their day-jobs.
