Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Richard Shekari for “Healing Hands”:
The Gospel King of Abuja! Tremendous production value. Simple confessional narrative. Gotta love the energy on this puppy!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Richard Shekari for “After Darkness”:
I'd like a live version drum track, but it's a heck of a song my friend. Very inspirational & well produced, written song and video narrative. Did you get the raw footage or did you have some outside help?

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Bojko for “Ghost of Heaven”:
It's a good track, but it needs some kind of a minor turn, could even be just instrumental, or somewhere in the chorus... But it's gotta have that if you want old J. Winston to be able to hear it ;)

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Bojko for “Frankly My Dear”:
I think the piano is maybe a better vehicle for you than the guitar now that I'm hearing these new tracks. Am I missing something or is there not really a vid here? $Shoham

The piano is coming together nicely lately I got some guitar tracks from November October and further back and some old piano stuff too I ain't put up yet I will asap. The video was shot in night with lil lamps on so it's very dark. I play on a grand at my Ps and have keyboards at home. Most recording is done on grand cause ya know that sound whew!! I still play guitar at home and bring it to my Ps house too I'll put the good ones up. Frankly my dear and brought out the flight are from mid December, I'll put months or dates for anything else I share too

Gabrielle gave feedback to Bojko for “Brought out the flight in me”:
I listened a few times which I don't normally do because it's hard for me to get into music. Like this one a lot.

I like the piano, and I can picture a violin in this song too. It's a simple but strong song.

You're trying to make use of your senses here just like me, but dude, I it's the government we're talking here. Have you ever seen or heard of any government that wants anyone to raise "awareness" about anything positive. Especially something that concerns the poor or less privilege
even when any government let's anything goes on TV it's always the coated part of the tip of the iceberg
don't worry I can get as many kids in the city when I get back to reenact the scene

i know what you mean. Well, the philosophy here for many people is the same: "Government=Coercion" YOU ARE THE RESISTANCE!

no-fi masterwork. actually i really like the texture of your vox on this puppy -- gritty to sweet in a single bound around 1:00 in -- power-full.

"Tear town your wall and build a bridge" nice, but I need the rest of the lyrics.

These two could be companion pieces?

welcome back ;)

very raw, in a good way. fluid but not flowery.

Vertical camera work, very unique. Gotta love the Ramonesesque length of this track. High energy. Super good lyrics, too. Don't change a thing.

tawmy gave feedback to WalaWalaWala for “level”:
nice rhythm chops
sweet electric fills
I like the lyrics ...
I was born again to live this dream
(my interpretation)
emotional vocals

tip: after recording whistling, (nice whistling by the way), hopefully on it's own track, you can eq out the blowing wind sound which detracts from the other instruments playing at the same time, and the track itself

before recording: try some wind baffles for your mics

good stuff ... reminds me of alt british/aussy rockers (unplugged) i used to listen to ... and still do

tawmy, thanks for the insight on the production. If memory serves this track was done on one take. Kudos to Kelly Barnard for making this video also! Thanks again, and consider a free download:
