Man, this is great! I will get hours of use out of this guy, for sure!

I think that as good as the core application is itself, and as much fun as it is to play with, the real genius of this application is how you incorporate the history of the drum machine, and how it has been put into use over the course of more than a century. I learned something from you, today :]

Maybe some day I will get around to re-writing this in JavaScript. This version is 10 years old. It could be much faster and more enjoyable... :)

Plenty enjoyable for me! Actully, I was going to ask you why you chose AS2, and not AS3, but that prety much nswers my question. Personally, I think that Action Script is a good language for the most part, even if it is going out of style. I am not much of a programmer, but I think that when you compare it to other languages that ran their course, and died, like COBOL and FORTRAN, some good things came out of the language...

Yeah, I like many things about it (AS3 that is, AS2 was pretty hacked up). I think it's unfortunate that Adobe's bad PR engine accelerated its decline. In many ways, I prefer working with ActionScript over JavaScript, but... times change. :)

Oh, man -- even beginner is too hard for me, but a very fun and addictive game.

Played it before, but I forgot how much I liked it and the music -- at least put it up for sale with AC.
