Is this Lou Reed?!? lo-fi-finesse...

I like the unison vocals. Has a late 50s early 60s feel.

I think you should emphasize the minor chords a little more by changing the strum pattern when you change chords.

Then, I would extend those better man call and response lines in the outro, like a cannon or a round:

Most people just see the Beach Boys as a gimmicky surf rock group, but once you delve into Brian's chords, structures, and key changes you soon realize that the man was a brilliant song composer. Everyone knows the genius behind Pet Sounds, but few come across the master pieces that are Today!, All Summer Long, Summer Days and Summer Nights, Shut Down Vol. 1 and 2, Little Deuce Coupe, and of course the lost in time Smile album.

Just learning some of the chords to their rock-ballad songs is just mind blowing and when getting into the chords of Pet Sounds is just light years away in complexity.

The Beatles and The Beach Boys have taught me more about chord structure than any other band, and have taught me much much more than just that. I get most of my inspiration from them which probably shows.

Maybe I'm just obsessed.

Could be obsessions, but you have to learn from past masters....
