Raum gave feedback to Raum for “Red Rubber Ball”:
Wow, I think this is when I started realizing how to properly sing/harmonize. I love listening back to my old stuff to compare to where I am now.

Oh wow Shoham, your vocals have gotten a ton better as well! I’m really digging the vocal structure along with the alternative strumming pattern. My only advice would be to come up with an ending point, which I may try and do. Mind sharing the chords? I can give you chords to mine and we can cover each other!

Hell Shoham, we just need to meet up in real life and form a band. I’m serious.

I did some double tracking in honor of your new tune! What do you mean by ending point? Like don't fade out? It's D-A, D-A-Bm-E for the verses. G-A-D for the chorus (I think!) the lyrics are in the notes, the recording is super 1st draft (like most of my recent ones...)

I gotcha. I’ll write up my chords in just a bit. And yeah I could see an alternate end other than fade.

A good end-of-album track. Nice percussive guitar track, too.

Thanks. I had a full fleshed out version of this one for an album I scrapped after a drive crash. Complete with corny storm sound fx, oh and some crickets and frog noises. Never had a final master uploaded though. Heres the version with the test vocal, back before I learned (kinda) how to sing https://soundcloud.com/sleepingships/the-floods-came

Excellent guitar on this track.I like the nostalgia this song brings to me and the vocals and lyrics fit perfectly with it as well.Very mellow indeed.

Thanks man. I have been in bands in the past, but these days I have a more lo-fi approach. Sad story behind this one, a friend of mine lost a daughter to drug addiction and this track is about what I imagine that would feel like.
