Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Raum for “I'm Only Sleeping”:
00:51, gotta add that high note... Can't let you slide on that one, Kimosabe. Terrific choice of patches for the guitar effect, but you can't just end it without some kind of a let's say: fade out, fade-in flourish.

Hoping you were still one here. And thank you I’ll get right get on to upgrading with your input. Pop filter just arrived today! There will be a lot more to come. I have just about all the Beatles songs down right now and plan on recording them all!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Raum for “I Don't Know”:
Keep exploring the opening chord changes. And slow down the lyrics. Let the vocals and lyrics flow over these changes more naturally. I know you were in a hurry to get it on wax, but for the next take, I want it more fluid, especially the vocals.

And again, let the guitar do most of the heavy lifting, John Boy! JAJAJAJA!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Steve Thompson for “Light”:
Again, the new level of maturity is inspiring. I am into this idea of combining live rock with techno. Hint, hint...

Thanks for the kind words. This is from a few years back, but I didn't have it uploaded here and I really liked the guitar tone near the end. :)

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Benji Fitten for “Girl Fever”:

Interesting 80's style new wave approach to the production, especially the vox.

I just checked out your page and saw The Cure as an influence, so maybe my instincts were right?

Thank you for sharing Benji,

Gabrielle gave feedback to Benji Fitten for “Girl Fever”:
Reminds me of $benci and his surfsound. I like the music. What program did you use? Lyrics can be clearer but they are balanced with the music even though they sound far away.

I just check out $benci it was really good thank you for that. I used reaper for this it was my first time using it, but yeah I tried a weird reverb plugin.

I don't know man, I think that I liked the original, Americaned version better.

It had a raw feel to it, which is hard to duplicate.

I know where you are coming from.

Let me increase tempo, change the way I play the cadd9 to the bar version, and also do what I do with how I style my singing to my liking.

We will call it the "Alt Version". Heh. Just for you Shoham.

Nice mix, man. Something of a classic maybe 1990s EDM flavor to it. That said I am not the world's greatest expert in techno.

Lots of energy, tight arrangement. Good job.

"colabjkklj", good point,

Love the new profile picture, dude! Fits your persona very nicely. I had not heard of this song yet, so thanks for the introduction.

It's definitely a different style from the original which I am listening to for the first time right now.

I like the style you put to the otherwise Cars-y track and your vocals are about 1000% better than the original. Don't overdo the 'very fine' version -sho

Oh man thank you so much for the advice! I totally agree with what you say about The Cars. It probably subconsciously leaked out, being very incfluenced by the The Car's style.

This means a lot.

Great beat, $tawmy!

Well produced and I like these lyrics as well, sounds something like a latter day John Lennon track.

Where is X-Ville exactly, BC?

This is really good. Did the 1988 version sound much different? Very full sound.
