Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Heavy Mind for “Patient Zero”:
Wow, very bluesy, and the vocals sound really nice. Somehow I recognize your singer's voice, maybe from another band on FeedForward?

Storytelling is very strong as well. Is this part of some kind of a longer story, concept album?

Thank you for sharing, this stuff is awesome!

Rex Yehudi (shoham) gave feedback to Bojko for “dug a hole”:
Very cool tune! I like this new direction, daddio :) I like the length of the song, the height of its spirit, and the breadth if instrumentation. I would like to hear another take on the vocals perhaps, or maybe just a multi-track of the same vocal part, split it and make one a slightly different speed than the other -- that can be a good technique for adding some texture.

Either way, very cool new track, my friend! Thank you for sharing, -Shoham

Gabrielle gave feedback to Carlston Meziere for “Drop”:
Sounds like it's from the soundtrack to a buddy movie or 80s teen movie. I like it a lot! Sounds super happy and upbeat.

I love it, man! This is a very, very interesting compliment to your new set, and a very interesting direction that I believe I have never heard from you!

What more can I say it speaks for itself!

nice! i like it! I am honored to have been an inspiration. How do you know Robot Hillarious???
flag (Jul 11, 2013, 13:13 EDT)
I went to high school with him the band he was in in high school I used to dress up like the devil and dance on stage and do ridiculous things while they played, he's a great guitarist, keyboardist, and I think he may Dj too, Robot Hilarious puts on great live shows too! we are gonna hang in the next week or two party hard and kick some ideas around! that was back when Clark was in his own high school band and I didn't play guitar yet when he wasn't jamming with Trickre (his first band with his cousin on Bass and another high school friend who directs short films now on drums) we would hang out and he'd play guitar and I'd sing to riffs he didn't have lyrics to that's where Comet Coming and maybe Stizknown off the first capitol clit CD came from not sure if that was sophmore year and then we recorded them two years later or what, then I learned guitar senior year in a high school class, and the rest will someday be history, whether we make it Big or die trying and then it'll be history cause it'll have been in the past lol

Nice! Good easy listening music. I like to this kind of music playing low in the background while I read, or at normal volume while I veg out in my comfy chair! Thanks for the tunes

The Closers gave feedback to Carlston Meziere for “Drop”:
Again, my favorite part is probably these airy vocal lines. Cool motif. Very simple, and I like the variety you have going on between this, which I think has an '80's flair, and some of your other stuff, which is a little heavier.

Looking forward to getting to OK City one of these days. Go Thunder!

The Closers gave feedback to Carlston Meziere for “Effects”:
I love the vocals here -- super spacey. Still can't hear everything as well as I would like, but I now think that it's definitely the headphones. Keep up the great work. Thanks...

Some really neat experiments in this one, very chill. Again, my one little idea as a singer who has fronted, led, started etc. blues based bands, is that you just might want to make sure that you are making sure to make room in the pocket for that vocalist as there's in some important respects both quantitatively and qualitatively between what a voice is going to be able to do and what a band is doing. That said, more power to you, and go on spend it all in one place :D
Thank you,

PS: Did you make this cover art? It's very fitting for your sound!

Thanks man, we definitely had some fun playing around with this one. Preciate the advice fitting in vocals, once we get going with a singer we will probably re-record it and open it up a bit more for lyrics. Glad you like the new artwork, my sister painted it for me, it definitely gives off the same vibe as our sound haha

VERY cool artwork. Any singer worth her/his salt will probably need the benefit of the doubt. This thing is going places, for sure! Are you guys on UNC campus by any chance???

Chase Risinger gave feedback to Bojko for “Carl Sagan's Green Dream”:
first of all i fuckin love carl sagan, this song is as chaotic as the cosmos he tried helped us understand, and it certainly has it's own sound to it, nice job, whatd you use to record it?
 Jun 18, 2012, 01:34 EDT
thank you very much, used a tascam 8 track DP-02, my old Sigma acoustic guitar for rhythm guitar, my Rockwell Pro electric for lead guitar, my phone on speaker phone and me talking into a mic with a distortion effect for my friend and mine's conversation, and mic and distortion effect while hitting random percussion things and drum kit parts, and a uke with drumsticks for the percussion, and a cooking timer is in there too for good measure lol, glad you liked it!!!
