Katsumi Richards gave feedback to The Middlemen for “Starstruck”:
Definitely a strong Strokes vibe courtesy the distorted vocals. A fun little indie homage to some late 2000s alt sounds. Some professional recording and engineering would set this off.

Goos call on all fronts Katsumi! This track was even recorded in 2002 in a very Strokesey time in my life. Thank you for the feedback.

Kode of Bliss gave feedback to tawmy for “ToGetHer LOVE”:
Has a very ZZtop feel to it coolio. Again Nice Mix and master. Nice clean recording of instruments.

Thanks KoB ... i thought 'Know Where To Run' was more ZZTop ish , but my two bluesy songs run in the same genre ...

shoham gave feedback to tawmy for “Over and Over”:
I'm not buying the vocals. It's a nice groove though for sure. I mean with the vox though I'm trapped between "OK Tom Waits Jr" and "Oh no Oscar the Grouch", but I really feel like a better vocal track would do more justice to this tune.

Who did you get to do that guitar track Stevie Ray Vaughn????

Thanks Shoham ... I was trying to unify the vocals with "ToGeHer Love' and 'Know Where To Run' , my other reworked blues pieces.
I have several well known 'shredders' that I work with to add the tasty guitar parts.

Love the play on words. Great blues!

Gnarly. The vocals could be more ominous, imho. Like scarier, but this track has some heavy industry to it.

Be my guest and make more ominous vocals to put to the track.

I can put up the track without the vocals for you to play with if you want.

That would be cool. I mean I like the lyrics, I just feel like it could sound like Marilyn Manson or Norwegian death metal, which I don't know if I could reproduce, but yeah I'm improving my production skills and this could be a good test for me!

Listening again, I'm thinking maybe my original idea would be overkill since it's supposed to be funny, whereas MM and Death Metal is funny by accident. But I wouldn't mind giving it a shot.

shoham gave feedback to Ian Marquis for “Venus Aphasia”:
Just coming up in my feed for the first time in a long time. This is a hell of a rocker man. How have you been and have you been able to team up with anyone ("IRL") to put together any live shows or other oppurtunities?

Keep me updated and keep 'em comin'
