I'm trying to put this in my brain, and it's confusing and distressing me, and I love it. The visual language of marketing made strange and uncomfortable through impossible perspective lines and jarring design choices--I don't know what the story behind this is, but it's making me Socialist. Good work!

My idea was really that it's ridiculous that we really fall in love with these characters, even when the food is crap, or we never even ate it (I like the leprechaun but never had lucky charms). Think about how bad some of this stuff would taste if not for they mascots, but I thought, let me reverse it. Also, I'm just starting to try visual art, so the jarring images are not necessarily intentional. I live in Pittsburgh, which is where Andy Warhol is from. His museum is here, and it's hard to tell if he means it, but he says that he really loved the stuff that people thought he was mocking. I think the idea from this came from the fact that I feel confused myself about whether I love this culture or not.
