A cover of yet another Beatles song, Help.

This time with my buddy Ivey Smith on the lead guitar/backing vocals. :)
I will add bass soon as feel like it. I think it turned out to be a nice recording that was also quite fun to do.

Lyrics:
Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed any body's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
My independence seems to vanish in the haze.
But every now and then I feel so insecure,
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these daya are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me, help me, help me, oh.

Sweet. Only one 'criticism': add some more long harmonies in the background like in the original. I like a lot what you did around 0:50 and 1:30 and at 2:10 with the guitar sound!

I would just say keep exploring the options with a song like this when you're in post production -- the Beatles would be proud...!

I can get the software and such, but it's implimenting it into my songs without it sounding tailored and like a drum machine.

I need change ups and rolls, which seems like it would be difficult with a program. So I would really like to get and record with a real drummer.

With drums my songs would be complete and I would have hundreds of uploads on here.

Hmmm... Do you know Emperor Norton...? http://www.feed-forward.net/EmperorNorton I would STRONGLY recommend getting together with him! He is in South Carolina as well -- lots of great music to be made. Woah! I feel like a musical matchmaker now!!!!!!!!
