Lyrics:
I close my eyes and think about the good times we had
I wrack my brain to find a reason why you left so mad
Was it something I did
Was it something I said
Was it something I misread
I'm sorry I acted like a stupid kid
I wrote this song
I wrote you this letter
Please come home and make things better
Please take my hand
You took my heart
I hate those words
Far apart
Please come back and make things better
I fake a smile as if everythings okay
But every night I have those dreams where you went away
I fell for your tricks again and again
But Im willing to forgive Im willing to forget
'Cause I know we're just stupid kids
I wrote this song
I wrote you this letter
Please come home and make things better
Please take my hand
You took my heart
I hate those words
Far apart
Please come back and make things better

Ted Kindig gave feedback to The Airvents for “Make It Better”:
Fuck yeah mono treble-heavy one-track punk recordings. The lyrics are obviously coming from a place of melancholy, but I hope that either now or later this aesthetic sounds like excitement and hope to you. That's what this kind of music means to me anyway; you've got a band and these are the good days.

The Middlemen gave feedback to The Airvents for “Make It Better”:
Has somewhat of a Strokes sound with the guitar in the beginning. I like the way the vox sound on it as well! You guys keep making it better every time you come out with a new recording, I swear :D Keep on rocking, forever, and more importantly, be excellent to each other!

Cool tune,
