s.a. zober gave feedback to Gremlin for “(Full of) Grace”:
Cool tune as always, G. I'd like to hear some harmonies the "She's my first love" part, for instance, and probably later in the song on the "She's full of grace parts". Sounds pretty good, though, my man :D Sad lyrics, aren't they?

Keep 'em coming!

Gremlin  This song is weird in that it came to me in a dream I had in which someone I knew had died. I wrote it, but soon realized it was way too personal so scratched all of it and wrote it about losing someone you love in general. Still don’t know if it is any good, nor do I really care as it is only one of eight songs I have written in the past week and a half which mostly consists of more rocking songs for the band. This one is more on the folkier side.

Oh, and it was only one take so didnt feel like I could add harmonies and junk to it since there are quite a few screw ups in it.

Thanks for the feedback as always Sho. :D  (Jul 27, 2012, 08:56 EDT)

s.a. zober  You might as well keep it in your arsenal! How is the band coming along?  (Jul 27, 2012, 13:48 EDT)

Gremlin  Pretty ok. We were actually supposed to play a gig yesterday but had to cancel. Probably for the best as the sound was shitty at the venue. Couldn't even hear the vocals. Oh well.  (Jul 29, 2012, 19:12 EDT)

s.a. zober  That sucks. SOme of these venues these days have no clue. Hoping to start one of my own! Where are you guys located again? Is it Eastern PA, I though you may have mentioned...  (Jul 30, 2012, 13:44 EDT)

Gremlin  Nope. Good ol' West "by God" Virginia. Lol  (Jul 31, 2012, 09:38 EDT)

s.a. zober  Really? Interesting. I'm in Pittsburgh -- we should jam sometime. Or you should come up and play a show. I could hook you up with a venue! -Shoham Are you far from the Burgh? I like WV, not up there too much, but it's beautiful, and acreage, I understand, is quite affordable...  (Aug 01, 2012, 10:27 EDT)

Gremlin  lol probably like an 8 hr drive for me to get there. I wouldnt mind it though, only problem is school starts for me soon. Theres always Thanksgiving break though!  (Aug 03, 2012, 20:45 EDT)

s.a. zober  that's a long drive. hopefully we can figure something out. It's hard to time these things, since there are few venues that allow unsolicited artists to perform anymore around here -- except for open mics, but that's not worth driving all the way up. I'll keep my eyes open for the break though. -Shoham  (Aug 04, 2012, 18:35 EDT)
