Stan Dooley  Angus is a breed and yes people do eat them, but in this case it may be quit a few years, its a female or as we refer to them as a heifer. She may become a replacement heifer as we rotate out older stock. She may even be a show calf, a young 4Her who will show her at fairs or stock shows. The facts of life my friend. That's why I took her picture to preserve her at this age for eternity, like puppies, kittens, children they all grow up. That's also why they don't put there baby pictures on the package at McDonald's, all of them were pretty cute at one time or another.  (Feb 09, 2012, 22:32 PST)

In all seriousness, though, what do you think about the explosion of beef consumption in the post war era in the US? I've heard some different views from farmers, and doctors. Stan Dooley  Everything in moderation man cannot live on burgers alone. I myself will go through stages of vegetarianism. There is something very cleansing about a good green salad with a balsamic vinegar, pomegranate, and brown mustard dressing.And yes small children, puppies, and kittens do taste goooood!
