The picture is from a guy named Paul Cezanne- the song is original- a demo, only 25c
Lyrics:
I'm Leaving the play today,
I don't want to act anymore-
The Producer is stingy,
I live on Skid Row.
The landlord is nosy,
And Lives right below
I'm leaving the play today,
I don't want to act anymore-
The Director's obtuse,
Everybody says so
The part that he gave me,
You Don't want to know...
Well, I try to ad-lib, but the man is absurd
He says I must follow the script word for word
I'm leaving the play today,
I don't want to act anymore-
The other actors complain and get by
They blame one another, but I don't know why!
No, I don't know why this play is in such dissaray,
That's why I am leaving today!

Thank you! This is a recording I like a lot, myself -- done in one take. It isn't the 'official' version, but I think that it's better when the feeling is right, sometimes, rather than having 'the real version'. Glad you like it -- one of the first songs I ever wrote -- around 1997!

Thanks for the + feedback! This one has a sad back story, but I think you're right. It's basically a pretty cool tune :)
