The Women of St. Emmanuel

Location: Kajo-Keji, South Sudan
About us:
Emmanuel Orphans’ Foundation & Trustee is committed to help widows and orphans in Kajo-Keji, South Sudan. We provide a brighter future for the children of our orphanage through education and apprenticeship.

We help students learn a craft, and provide them with role models to help them get on a track towards self sustainability. Some skills learned include: craft making, bread baking and brick molding. These skills help students develop a sense of responsibility, and ease the burden on their mothers and guardians by bringing in additional revenue for their families.

Our foundation aspires to enroll more children in need, and to better support the ones already under our care. Please help support the women and children of our orphanage by purchasing their unique crafts! Thank you :D

Very cool piece. I think that the picture is a little bit crooked, but I like the simplicity and the color scheme of this one.

How long does something like this take to make? Id like to see one with a little more color. Cool piece, though.

Thanks,
-Shoham

Will gave feedback to The Women of St. Emmanuel for “Balancing Bird”:
I really like this piece. It looks like the bird should fall down, but the weight of the bird is apparently distributed just right, so that the bird's center-of-gravity is at its beak!
